Explore the West Country all year round with access to hiking/biking and horse trails. Quadding and snowmobiling in the backcountry as well as seasonal hunting and fishing. For some rest and relaxation, enjoy the deck by the flower garden, sit in front of the wood burning stove or by the firepit on those starry nights.

Welcome to this private, pint-sized adventure retreat in the forest! Kick back on the deck or around the campfire, cook in the outdoor kitchen and end the day in a plush king size bed. Includes wood burning stove for chilly days, simple kitchen appliances, mini fridge, games and wi-fi (because, life). Bathroom is a separate building with a composting toilet (no shower). Our resort includes a beautiful three bedroom vacation house and land that overlooks the James River. It is surrounded by trees in the Canadian wilderness. Enjoy a relaxing time in peace and quiet. Great for families. Escape the busy life while still in comfort. Bookings are based on double occupancy with a maximum of 6 people. $40/person/night for extra guests. Beautiful rustic off-grid straw bale cabin surrounded by unspoiled nature and working ranch lands, located between Calgary and Canmore. Running water May-Oct, wood stove and old-fashioned outhouse. Cozy and simple with all the comforts you need. We lived in this little cabin with two toddlers for over a year while we built our house and it has everything you need to be comfortable. It is magical in the winter. Fun fact: A full length feature film was recently filmed here!
