Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Located in Orange, Texas it is only 1/2 mile to I-10. We are on the border of Texas & LA and midway between lake Charles, LA and Beaumont, TX. We are in a very quiet, private neighborhood with one entry road. It is a safe place for a morning walk. Enjoy a very large circle driveway at the main house, and a beautiful walk way through the side gate to the Guest House in the back property. The Guest House is separate from the main house.

Historic Blueberry Hill cabin offers a unique opportunity to experience nature and history first-hand. Enjoy the cozy, rustic charm of your own private cabin with the benefits of a B&B. Beautifully decorated with cowboy memoralbilia and antiques. Your stay includes a real Texas home-cooked country breakfast served each morning from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. in the Lodge dining room. Take it easy at this unique property getaway. Built in 1925, this beautiful home has a lot of its original details and charm including creeky doors and hardwood floors, lots of original windows and it even has a working elevator. Quiet historic neighborhood with the Ocean Cannal and Seawall 1 short block away. *** This house is haunted but the spirits are very freindly and a bit mischievous ** However, if you don't want them to be near you, just tell them and they will leave you alone.

Pets Welcome - Bedroom & Bath

I live in a rural area. Pets are welcome. I also have a large area in which trailers/RVs can be parked for dry camping. There is one electric 15-40 connection. No sewer is available. My home very eclectic and is packed with antiques and books. I am an artist and I love to cook. At this time, I can accommodate two adults. Please understand that this is not Las Vegas. This is a home, not a hotel. I have art and crafts in process constantly, so expect clutter and creativity.
