On 60 acres, lots of dirt roads, and a rough rocky dry creek to explore. hummingbirds, jack rabbits, deer to keep you amused. Several clear cool swimming holes on the Nueces River just minutes away. This peaceful cabin is centrally located in the Texas Hill Country, close to Garner State Park, Lost Maples State Park and Hill Country State Natural Area. Drive through the Hill Country on the Twisted Sisters, enjoying the beautiful scenery and wildlife. Close by, you can enjoy floating or swimming in the Frio River and the Sabinal River at the Utopia Park. Utopia has a renowned golf course featured in the movie Seven Days in Utopia. Concan 20 miles away also has a golf course.

A couple of miles from town and the Nueces River. Approx 40 minutes to the Frio River and Garner state park.

The Hondo Cabin @ Whiskey Mountain Great Location

My place is close to family-friendly activities, Garner state park (3 miles) and Lost Maples State Park, Leakey, Kerrville, Utopia, Uvalde, and many Frio River crossings of course. My place is good for couples, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets), Pets are an additional $15 per pet, per night. We will have to bill after you book, b/c there is no option on Airbnb.

Now and Then Cottages

The Now and Then Cottages are definitely comfy and cozy, but they are so much more. A local craftsman constructed the cottages with handpicked rocks from the beautiful Nueces and strong cedar from the surrounding hills. Saying that they have character is an understatement, but in addition, they are inviting and comfortable. Don't miss the chance to experience them, now and then.
