Casa Viva Barrel is a barrel-shaped cottage which provides a novel experience while staying connected to the rich Costa Rican feel and ambiance. The cottage also has a notable craftsman feel where the carpenters took great attention to detail from the shape of the structure to the hand-made furniture, and round-shaped windows that were all custom designed for a truly unique and comfortable experience. A beachfront house for 4 people, LA BARCAROLA is set in beautiful Ballena Marine Park. The ideal place to enjoy Nature at its fullest: surrounded by huge trees, visited daily by monkeys and toucans. Whales and dolphins will show off right in front certain months of the year. IMPORTANT: please consider the driving time from San José: 4 hours. For their safety, we ask our guests to arrive before sundown. the roads are in good state, but not well illuminated.
