Fox Cottage is a little gem in South Devon. Beautifully refurbished, the 18th century thatched building is ideal for a relaxing break or for a longer stay. The Farm has rare-breed sheep, goats and chickens as well as heritage cider orchards and a 17th Century Cider House. From time-to-time produce can be bought during your stay. Tucketts is a peaceful regenerative farm and a wildlife haven. It's just a short walk over fields or through woodland to the Farm's shingle beach on the Teign estuary.

The Old National School is a Grade II listed house, nestled in the beautiful hamlet of Sampford Spiney, located within Dartmoor National Park. Dating from 1585, the house sits in an idyllic spot between the Church and picturesque Sampford Manor. Originally the Church hall, it became the parish school in 1887 until 1923. It was only in the 1960’s that it became a residential dwelling. With its varied history, the house is quirky, with its lovely spacious rooms hinting at its eclectic history.

Hartford Dairy is an annex next to our home. It is a cosy one bedroom, self contained space providing great accommodation for a couple or single traveller with its own parking space for one car. We are conveniently situated close to Dartmoor for beautiful scenery and walks and also within easy access to the coast, Exeter, Plymouth and Torbay. A village pub and Post Office/store are within walking distance. Our nearest town is Bovey Tracey and Ashburton is also an approximate 10 minute drive.

Totnes is a charming vibrant town filled with independent shops and restaurants, located in the heart of South Devon. A stones throw away from the River Dart located on a peaceful road, the cottage is an excellent base to explore the town, local coasts and the countryside, with lovely walks right on your door step.

Beaston Cottage

Beaston cottage is attached to the Grade 2* listed Manor House. It was built in the early 18th century and was once owned by Giles Hussey a renowned portrait artist whose work hangs in the National Portrait gallery. It is located close to the village of Broadhempston, In gentle green hills, a fabulous location for exploring the South Hams and Dartmoor.

A special place that used to be an old bakery full of character with a wood burner in the lounge/diner, a good sized bedroom with kingsize bed, spiral staircase, original beams in the kitchen & a sweet garden with sun trap behind the house to enjoy.
