We are a 5 min walk to the great pubs, cafés and restaurants on Appledore quay, and a 30 min picturesque walk to Westward Ho! beach - 2.5 km of sand dunes and surf. You can swim off the Lifeboat slipway just 100 yards down the street.

Dummett Cottage is a Grade 2 listed 3 bedroom fishing cottage with an incredible garden backing directly onto the Taw-Torridge estuary. Sit on the patio and watch beautiful sunsets over the Atlantic as fishing boats and yachts sail by. Set on one of Appledore's oldest streets, and dating from around 1700, Dummett Cottage is one of the original houses built in Appledore. From the inglenook fireplace to the exponses beams and arches, this cottage is full of character and history.
