Our mountain sanctuary

Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

Mountain View near Asheville/Hatley Pointe

Our home is nestled in a quiet 30 acre mountain setting with an amazing view! The space includes full kitchen and dining, bathroom, and bedroom at ground level (no stairs). My husband and I live in the second floor of the home. Guests have complete privacy during their stay. The location offers quick access to a major interstate for opportunities in WNC and Asheville. We are just a few miles from Mars Hill University and a 20 min drive to Hatley Pointe. Families with kids are welcome. NO PETS.

Chestnut Ridge Retreat

Guest love the peace and the views here at our retreat. Enjoy a morning or evening in the hot tub, sun on the pool deck and swim in warm weather. Relax by the fireplace or fire pit (roast some s’mores). Walk the property to see the chickens, horse and donkey. At our farm we love diversity, support all love, and don’t think that hate makes America great - if you don’t agree we may not be the destination for you. We have added a small chair that converts to a bed- we can squeeze 3 in.

The Nest, a mountainside retreat

The Nest is tucked into a grove of hemlocks, high above the creek and valley below. All types of vehicles have made the trek up the driveway, but we recommend 4-wheel drive. The seclusion of The Nest is unmatched and this tiny modern marvel comes with all you ask for, and so much more. Less than 25 min to downtown Asheville and minutes from the quaint mountain towns of Marshall and Mars Hill. Enjoy activities like hiking, skiing, and zip lines. This NEWLY built 'croft' is located on a quiet land, tucked away from the main roads and busyness of life, perfectly set up for anyone just trying to get away for a bit and take in some nature. Relax in the rocking chairs on the porch, stargaze at the top of the hill with minimal light pollution, or cozy up with Netflix in the king-sized bed.

Cabin Kisa

This cabin was constructed by hand in 2019 and is designed with both style and calm in mind. It is a perfect place for artists and writers to find inspiration or for guests who want to connect to nature by simply waking up with the trees. The cabin is a BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ safe space, partly functions as an informal artist residency space for our friends and comrades and guest who stay will find it more as a home environment instead of a hotel.
