Close to the Cotswolds, Bath as well as Marlborough and Avebury. Quiet, secluded and beautifully decorated, it is a perfect retreat.

Conkers Self-Contained Annexe near Avebury

Conkers is a spacious self-contained annexe within Chestnut House which has it's own private entrance and has recently been renovated to include a well equipped kitchen and luxurious bathroom. Sleeping for two adults is provided in a king-sized bed separated from an open plan living area by a bookshelf screen. A separate bedroom with two single beds (truckle) can accomodate two children/teenagers. Conkers is in the Avebury World Heritage site and within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The North Transept

The North Transept is part of our converted Victorian Gothic church. We've done all the conversion ourselves - the high ceilings and beautiful Gothic windows make it a unique space. It's in a small hamlet in a beautiful hidden valley surrounded by fields; there's lovely walking from the door and lots of local wildlife including roe and muntjac deer, pheasants, red kites and owls. It's easy to get to a wide range of local attractions like Lacock and Avebury and only half an hour to Bath.

Well behaved dogs are welcome but we do ask that they are kept on leads. We have a secure location available for bicycles.

The perfect couples hideaway, Longstones is one of six luxurious stable conversions featuring a bold and colourful style. Downstairs, you’ll find a compact, but well-equipped kitchen, cosy living space and shower room. Upstairs you’ll find a king size bedroom in the eaves on a mezzanine level accessed via a built-in wooden ladder. A vaulted ceiling and large window on the mezzanine floor help to create the sense of space.
