Quiet, private location would make for a perfect romantic get-away or comfortable place to relax after a busy day. Modern amenities include: Rustic furnishings, shiplap, barn board, granite countertops, heated bathroom floor, dishwasher, central air & fire pit.

Located at the base of Whiteface Memorial Highway, guests enjoy views of the Whiteface Mountain Range from their rooms and are steps from the Au Sable River and town beach located on Lake Everest. Hiking, biking, fishing and Whiteface Mountain are mere minutes from your stay. Adirondack Chocolates is next door and a popular restaurant - Twisted Raven Restaurant/Pub - is on the property. Lake Placid is only 10 miles away with other attractions like Santa's Workshop and High Falls Gorge nearby.

We love it every time we can get up north to our classic Adirondack home-away-from-home. From the spacious kitchen to the 3 comfy queen beds and the bunk room, to the wonderful fireplace, to the cozy separate sitting areas, to the living room with cathedral ceiling, to the huge front porch and the back yard fire pit... we love visiting our sweet place in Wilmington/Whiteface. We know you will too! Note: We absorb the cleaning fee! Guests should leave our home as clean and tidy as possible.

Adirondack getaway w/trails, hot tub and sauna

My house is tucked in the woods. I'm the last house on my road that is a dead end. With very few neighbors it is a very private location in the heart of the Adirondack mountains. I'm only 20 min from lake placid and Keene and 10 min from whiteface mountain. I'm 10 min lake Everest and and the Ausable. 20 min from mirror lake. Right out the back door there is hiking , skiing, snow shoes trails. There are 2 peaks that can be reached out my front door, Clarke mtn and Hamlin mtn.

Only five minutes to Whiteface Mountain and less than 15 minutes to downtown Lake Placid, the convenience of the location is key for both outdoor enthusiasts and those looking to just getaway and relax in nature. The Ausable River and Lake Everest are both within walking distance.

Situated directly by the Ausable River and surrounded by beautiful vineyards and gardens you will be immersed in nature at any time if the year. It's sure to restore the soul. The gentle rumble of the river is ever present as you look out over the natural beauty. During the summer cool off in the river and come back to the screened in porch for an evening meal. In the winter fire up the pellet stove and get cozy. 15 minutes to Whiteface and Keene and 25 Minutes to Lake Placid.
