Upstairs lounge equipped with childs' toys, books and activities.. Well equipped kitchen with walk in pantry. Up to two well behaved dogs are allowed downstairs, dog sitting available. The property is NZ lifestyle... with the intention to be self sufficient. A hectare of native forest shelter the house and gardens creating a totally private oasis with birdlife and magnificent views over Acacia Bay. Free range hens give eggs and an apiary in the orchard, honey. The self contained studio is downstairs with a king bed, a divan bed and ensuite. A small patio is beyond the french doors. Linen and towels are provided. Breakfasts are available, and a 3 course evening meal on request.

The huge backyard has an orchard, Bar B Que and outdoor entertainment area. Electric gate and off street parking provides superb security. Two course homemade breakfast included.

Omaka Lodge is a boutique bed & breakfast venue situated alongside New Zealand’s iconic Forgotten Highway. Come and enjoy a beautiful sunny bedroom with Queen bed and your own ensuite bathroom. A continental breakfast will be set out and waiting for you in the morning and I am happy to accommodate special dietary requests if possible. Guests are welcome to relax in the lounge area with a wine or tea/coffee.
