This is a historical Arts and Crafts home built in 1925 located a block from downtown. The location of the home is semi-commercial. A neighbor has teenagers and are sometimes known to play loud music and present as teenagers. Palatka is a rugged small town with areas of distress and ranks poorly in terms of economic opportunities. It has been identified as one of the poorest counties in the state of Florida. The town is small and less developed which appeals to those seeking a quieter life.

A paddle boat is provided. Three kayaks and 2 bicycles are also available! Or you can bring your boat and go fishing! Enjoy swimming, lovely sunsets and strolls around the beautiful lake.

Includes a fully stocked kitchen, covered porch, fire pit, gas grill, and WiFi if you feel the need to plug in. NOT suitable for parties or events. NO loud noise, please.

Sportsman's Bluff

Nestled atop a serene bluff, the house offers a fantastic retreat for guests. In addition, there is a private floating dock where you can tie up to a 28 ft boat after a beautiful day fishing or enjoying the water. Please note, access to the dock requires walking up and down approximately 36 stairs (see photo of bluff). Whether you’re exploring the nearby attractions or simply relaxing on the bluff, we’re happy to assist you with any questions before or during your stay a Sportsman’s Bluff.

There are 2 springs both 5 minutes from the house, Salt Springs & Silver Glen Springs. Beautiful Juniper Springs, Silver Springs and Alexander Springs are all a hop, skip, and jump away. Bring your fishing poles and mosey down to the boathouse and try your luck fishing right in the backyard at the canal.

Welcome to the Damon Nomad! Gated Lakefront campground. No RV experience needed. Across street salt springs. A short drive to Silver glen, Silver, Alexander & jupiter springs. Only RV I know of with a California King. Tons of stuff to do if you like the outdoors. . $35 checkin fee for up 2 vehicles. Golf carts no longer provided after April 30th, 2026.
