View the seals at colony 10 minutes down the coast...Or you can sit back and read a book and listen to the birds.

This is a great place to take time out from busy life in a quiet rural setting. With separate guest access and use of a private courtyard garden, this airbnb offers the best of Marlborough's wine country only 10 mins from Renwick and 15 mins to the airport. Black Mountain is nestled in the foothills of the Kaikōura Seaward Ranges, 6 km north of Kaikōura township. Designed for short and longer stays, the home is private, peaceful, and set in a beautiful rural landscape. Separate from the main house our private guest house is self contained and fully equipped, perfect for a couple or business person.

Our place is a self contained studio unit situated on a vineyard only 6 km from Blenheim. It has great views over the vineyard and is quiet and secluded despite being close to all amenities and the outstanding range of vineyards that Marlborough has to offer. Feel free to stroll our vineyard and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of it's rural location. Please note: due to being a working vineyard our property is not suitable or safe, for infants or children.

It's a perfect base to explore both regions. The ferry in Picton is approximately 1h10min away. Watch the sunrise over the Pacific, take a stroll down to the beach to visit the seal colony or simply enjoy the serenity this private cottage has to offer with a book in hand.
