Karaka Studio on Manuka Island Nelson/Tasman

Karaka studio is on the very edge of the Waimea Inlet with water twenty metres from your front door. Lie in bed and watch the tide come in. We are a private estuary island (Manuka Island) but we have drive on access at all times, 25 minutes to Nelson and Motueka. Rabbit Island beach(4km) and Taste Nelson Cycle Trail is a km from our gate. We are central to vineyards, cafes, 3/4 hour to Abel Tasman National park. We have amazing sea, rural , and mountain views. Total privacy assured.

Hillside Haven

A great place to take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Whether a stop off from the nearby Great Taste Trail or part of a road trip or holiday getaway, you will enjoy the views and peace of your visit here. The downstairs part of our home is self contained with a separate entrance and is available for your exclusive use and enjoyment. If requested, a cooked dinner or breakfast or packed lunches can also be provided as well as advice and support for local sights and activities.

Wai-iti River Retreat

Escape to the Wai-Iti River Retreat, just 3 minutes drive south of Wakefield and 30 minutes drive from Nelson, in the picturesque Tasman. The guest house is pet-friendly, with a king bed, kitchen (portable cooktop, air fryer, no oven), washing machine, and bike racks. Relax in the fully fenced property or visit the nearby famous Wakefield Bakery. Book your tranquil getaway today! The outdoor bath, hammock, weber barbecue, brazier and outdoor furniture set in a beautiful natural landscape are perfect for a relaxing holiday. The sunroom/second bedroom is an extension of the living area. It converts to the second bedroom with 2 divans that can be made up as either a king size bed or 2 single beds. Children 12+

Your studio is designed to provide a calm and stylish stay. You have your own entry, carpark, outdoor area, bedroom and bathroom locked off from the rest of the house making it easy for you to come and go. Set up like a hotel studio, there is a kitchenette with toaster, microwave and fridge, lounge space with TV and fire for winter months. Note: there are no cooking facilities other than the microwave and toaster.
