The OverFlo is a cozy, compact self-contained space with private access & courtyard, situated in the picturesque Kaitoke countryside. Refurbished to a high standard & attention to detail, it offers a peaceful, comfortable getaway, in a delightful private rural setting. Upper Hutt, Brewtown & the railway station are just 10min away & 20 min from the Wairarapa, the wine trail & the many cafes, restaurants & boutique shops. Wellington & all that this vibrant city has to offer is a 40 mins drive.

Tiny House Train-Eco stay

Thank you for renting the train as this really helps me. The train runs on solar power, all your water is spring water and is a great example of up cycling and recycling. The tiny house train is located on a 10 acre/4.2 hectare organic blueberry farm and was restored in 2018 and turned into a tiny house in May 2019. There is a cozy log burner plus electric blanket and heat pumps. There is a smart TV Netflix supplied . Wifi is Starlink with laptop friendly kitchen table. Self checkin after 2pm.

Longforde Cottage

Welcome to Longforde, a very special, charming and beautifully furnished cottage attached to our main home but completely independent with your own access and landscaped to ensure your absolute privacy. Set on 4 acres of stunning gardens, each room has private rural views of the countryside and Tararua ranges. We are located at the end of one of Greytowns most beautiful streets, a walkable 2km into the shops and cafes. As well, we are on a popular walking and biking route to the Waiohine river.

The Gatehouse - vintage cottage with rural views

Relax on the window seat with views over farmland in this charming vintage cottage. The deck is a sunny peaceful spot for morning coffee and, at night, for taking in the stars of the internationally renowned Wairarapa Dark Sky. The plumpy fireside sofa is perfect for sinking into with a glass of wine. The Gatehouse is only six minutes drive from Martinborough and 11 minutes to Greytown. It has two bedrooms with queen beds, a kitchen/dining space and bathroom with high pressure shower.

Prairie Holm Cabins

Secluded Cabins nestled among five acres of regenerating native garden. Prairie Holm Farm is a working farm located along the edge of Lake Wairarapa and foothills of the rugged Remutaka Ranges. Accommodation consists of a generous sized lounge/kitchen/bathroom cabin and a separate two bedroom sleeping cabin. The bathroom is a unique "camping style" room giving an open air feel. NOTE: Prairie Holm is a working Dairy, Sheep & Beef farm - NO Pets allowed & NO Wifi available.

Cosy caravan amongst the trees

Set within 6 acres of farmland this 1977 caravan with a conservatory is a comfortable spot to get a taste of rural life, while only being 7 minutes away from the heart of Lower Hutt. As local beekeepers, we'll have honey and farm eggs from our chickens ready for you on arrival. This space is ideal for 2-4 but can work for 6 people. We’ve found it works well for families as well as adults. However, many budget savvy adult groups love it as they are happy in a smaller space.

Welcome to your Petone retreat. You can choose to relax in the basket chairs on the front porch or unwind on the private back patio. Inside, you’ll find a bright, spacious kitchen with all the amenities you need to cook up a feast. The separate living room offers plenty of space to spread out, complete with a cosy gas fire, perfect for those chilly evenings. With convenient parking right outside the front door, comfort and ease come standard at this city fringe hideaway.

Romantic and Adventurous

Ride, roam relax at our mountain bike park. Maximum peace and quiet on top of a hill with nothing but views. Once you have finished relaxing you can go for a mountain bike ride and choose from 20 tracks. Cold? No problem, the fire will be set up ready to light upon arrival. Cheese board and wine supplied when you arrive and a breakfast basket of locally sourced/ NZ made produce all included in your stay. Don't forget your togs for the hot tub with an incredible view.

Enjoy the peace and tranquility tucked away in the native bush of beautiful Lowry Bay. Our quiet apartment offers many unique qualities for discerning guests. Surrounded by an oasis of the fabulous bush, birdlife, natural running stream, and enchanting bushwalk. The apartment itself is self-contained and independent from the main house, with total privacy, own access, and with off-street parking if required.

The Hut

The hut is a beautifully crafted off the grid cabin located located on a sheep and beef farm, Daisybank, just minutes out of Martinborough . Open the doors right up on a nice day and enjoy the fresh air or cozy up with a blanket on the couch in front of the fire when the weather makes you want to bunker down. The outdoor bath is the icing on the cake to allow you to take in the views while relaxing in the tub
