Misty Mountain Hut - Ruapehu

Misty Mountain Hut-Ruapehu is located in the sleepy little village of Rangataua, 5 minutes distance to Mountain road going up to the Turoa skifield and Ohakune. The 1 bedroom colonial villa has a beautiful view of the mountain. Unlimited wifi and a new firebox with plenty of firewood and a heat pump ensure you are warm in winter. My favourite time here is summer for amazing walks/cycling up mountains to enjoy majestic views. Misty Mountain Hut supports local staff by paying $40/hr for cleaning.

Only 10 minutes drive from town, our house sits high up on a hill over looking Whakaipo Bay, Lake Taupo's western bays and the surrounding farmland. Feel like you are in the middle of nowhere while only being minutes from the lively town of Taupo. Our large front porch and yard is the perfect place to enjoy time with your loved ones. Location, location, location. A peaceful paradise with stunning views of beautiful lake Taupo and Mount Tauhara. A treasured home with a very warm and welcoming vibe - lots of unique features. The location is brilliant, overlooking Acacia Bay’s popular swimming and kayaking bay. Walk to the water in two minutes. The boat ramp is a short two min drive and we are seven minutes by car to Taupo township. The perfect spot for your next break. The views are amazing! A special Kiwi experience!

Vida is a fully refurbished, stand-alone house with modern furnishings and high-quality features. Located in central Turangi, tucked away in a quiet commercial area. It is fully fenced for your dog to join you. Two-minute drive to cafes, supermarket and town. There is ample room for your boat/jet ski if you're heading out fishing on the lake. Turangi is an adventurer's paradise year round and many complete the Tongarario Alpine Crossing as it’s about the closest accommodation you will find.

Dreamy sunsets over Lake Taupo & Ruapehu

Our modern home is 15 minutes from Taupō yet feels like a private hideaway. Quiet and secluded, it looks out to Lake Taupō and Mount Ruapehu, with stunning sunsets. Ideal year-round, it has outdoor areas with BBQ, large windows and a double-sided fireplace. Whakaipo Bay is 5 minutes away for swimming or walking, with plenty of bush tracks nearby. Not suitable for children. Hairdryer, toiletries and iron not provided (sorry guests keep taking them and it’s to hard to constantly replace).

Nestled amongst mature trees and gardens our beautiful home bursts warmth and character. Located across the road from the world famous Tongariro River makes this the ideal location for outdoor adventures including fly-fishing, bike rides & skiing. In the winter relax by the fire, or when the weather is warmer, enjoy the spacious and private section for al fresco living - with decking at both the front and rear you can enjoy your morning coffee, and enjoy a game of Pétanque or Corn Hole.

In the popular holiday haven of Acacia Bay, this is a great base to leap in to water/hiking adventures or to just curl up on the couch with a little Netflix. The lake is just around the corner (literally!) and there's much to see & do. Your space is newly renovated with a kitchenette, yummy cereals, comfy extras like games, books, wifi and Chromecast. Your haven is 6 mins by car to the centre of town, 3 mins walk to the lake, 1 min walk to a local pub & store.

This cozy cottage offers beautiful views! With a covered outdoor area with bifold windows, you will be able to enjoy them at any time. Tranquility, comfort and relaxation, just a few minutes away from lake Taupo and only 10 minutes drive to Taupo town - This place is perfect to escape real life and enjoy a break! It is private with modern furniture, a well equipped kitchen with alpacas and emus just outside. You can feed the alpacas. Plenty of parking space.

The Art House on Sunset

The Art House is a charming two-bedroom Lockwood home from the 1950s that is warm and inviting. Thoughtful touches throughout make you feel at home. Recently fitted with new double-glazed windows, it's exceptionally cosy. The heat pump and fire keep you warm. The back deck, basking in sunlight, is perfect for unwinding with a glass of wine and a good book. The lake and hot water beach are just a 10-minute walk away, offering endless exploration opportunities.

The French Cottage - great wifi - private and safe

The Cottage is a boutique living space, recently renovated and refurnished to a high standard, ensuring a relaxed and enjoyable experience for your stay in Taupo. Fully self contained, with a brand new super comfy bed, it is a private haven, although we're not far away if there's anything we can do to help. With unlimited internet, it's own private outdoor setting, it's the perfect option for weekend break, a longer stay, or if you're just passing through.

Renovated Tauranga Taupo river view Gem

Renovated fully fenced cosy cottage and caravan as the 3rd bedroom with a full bathroom located in the small cabin right next to the caravan that can be used if booking for 7 or more people. The property is right next to the river on a small country road that heads to the lake you can just about fish out the front door into the Tauranga-Taupo River a trout fishermen’s Dream. A friendly small community made up of Bach owners and a few permanent residents
