This private guest suite is on the ground floor of my waterfront home. With views across the garden to Bruny Island and a direct path leading to a sandy beach, this is a quiet Haven. The suite includes; a large bedroom, king bed, private entrances, garden deck, contemporary bathroom, and a kitchenette. The location is the stunning South Arm Peninsula offering many coastal trails, beaches, and a key site for viewing the Aurora Australis. Easy access to Hobart (40mins) and the Airport (30ms).

Dolphin Sands Beach Studio

A special slice of Tasmania's magical east coast, the 'Dunes' studio is a cosy couples retreat that will relax and rejuvenate. Nestled amongst the native flora of this 5-acre block, this quiet setting backs directly onto the spectacular 9-mile beach and the breath-taking vistas of the Freycinet National Park. Wake-up to birdsong and a sandy sunrise. Walk, swim, breath again. Enjoy stunning sunsets and a vast night sky before falling asleep to the sounds of the waves, awaking to do it all again.

Chambls Shack provides wanderers with a slow stay, overlooking the sandy beach at Verona Sands. Chambls is a genuine shack experience, complete with 1970’s kitchen, open fireplace and light shades. Plenty of wobbly bits and sloping floors, but we’re watertight, warm and a whole load of fun. We are about 30 mins due east of Hobart Airport. It's ideal for one-night stays, but, if time permitting, treat yourself to a few days so you can explore this incredible area which is all within easy reach. Dolphin Sands is a beautiful beach and offers endless walking and swimming opportunities. Swansea is a 30 minute walk by beach.

Using the shack as your base, no matter which direction you choose to venture, there’s an array of experiences and activities to explore, 20 min to Hobart Airport, 40 min to Hobart, gateway to Richmond, East Coast, Port Arthur and the Tasman Peninsula. In a quiet location, with views out across Great Oyster Bay, Nine Mile Beach and the Hazards, this is the ideal property for a family holiday or romantic getaway. Only a short walk into the township of Swansea, and a short drive to the many wineries and vineyards, it really is the most perfect spot.
