The boat ramp is a short two min drive and we are seven minutes by car to Taupo township. The perfect spot for your next break. The views are amazing! A special Kiwi experience!

We are in easy reach of some of NZ's' most stunning hikes. An Easy 35 minutes to Whakapapa ski field and Tongariro Crossing, local river walks, supermarket and eateries 10 mins. John Scott is one of NZ’s premier architects renowned for designing unique buildings. Our home doesn’t disappoint and we’re delighted to share it with the Air BnB community. A self contained wing of our home sits in a tranquil spot. A five minute drive or a stroll along the lakefront will get you into town. We’re a few minutes walk from the Botanical Gardens and the lakefront.

Our modern home is 15 minutes from Taupō yet feels like a private hideaway. Quiet and secluded, it looks out to Lake Taupō and Mount Ruapehu, with stunning sunsets. Ideal year-round, it has outdoor areas with BBQ, large windows and a double-sided fireplace. Whakaipo Bay is 5 minutes away for swimming or walking, with plenty of bush tracks nearby. Not suitable for children. Hairdryer, toiletries and iron not provided (sorry guests keep taking them and it’s to hard to constantly replace).
