We have a quaint, cozy and clean room, with a work in progress exterior (built in the 1950s/purchased in 2025) located 28 miles from the Copper Harbor mountain biking trails. We do not take pets at this time, severe allergies. Two restaurants are located within walking distance, Slims Cafe (closed Mon), and the Glacia Tavern (Closes Tues). Enjoy a good night's rest and a tasty breakfast next door before your adventure begins. -ATV trail across the road from our parking lot. -21 miles from MTU

Thomsonite Inn on Lake Superior unit #7

Our most cabin-like unit with Lake Superior only 50 yards away with a wood burning fireplace. Imagine yourself sitting on the patio listening and watching the waves pounding the shoreline or experiencing the peace and quiet that can be present too. This unit sleeps up to 6 guests with a queen bed in the bedroom, full size murphy bed and full futon sleeper in the living room. Full kitchen/separate dining area with a full bath, Smart TV, and WIFI. Ground floor.

Thomsonite Inn on Lake Superior Unit #5

This is our largest suite at Thomsonite Inn comfortably sleeping up to six guests. One bedroom with a queen bed, another with two twin beds and a sofa sleeper in the living room. A beautiful view of Lake Superior can be seen from the kitchen, dining, and living room. The wood burning fireplace offers a cozy atmosphere to relax. Wood is provided for wood burning fireplace. This suite also has a full bathroom, Smart TV, telephone, coffee maker, and Wifi.

Thomsonite Inn on Lake Superior unit #11

Formerly known as the Feigal’s jewelry workshop, this unit was converted into a spacious and economical unit. A wooded view with a king bed, microwave, mini fridge, Smart TV, telephone, and coffeemaker. Wifi provided. A short walk around our building and you can enjoy our large grassy grounds and ledge rock Lake Superior shoreline. Note there is no view of Lake Superior from this room, and this room is located next to the office.

Thomsonite Inn on Lake Superior unit #10

Amazing Lake Superior views can be taken in from the comfort of the king size bed in this upper level unit in our main building. Along with the king size bed, this unit is outfitted with a full kitchen, full size pull out couch, full bath, and dining area. We can't forget about the wood burning fireplace either, perfect for cool nights on the lake.

Beautiful Cherry Malt Room Overlooks Nat'l Park

The Cherry Malt Room features a king-size bed, bespoke closets, and spacious windows overlooking the National Park and our backyard. Antique furnishings complete the room's charm. The attached private bathroom has a tub shower combination and pedestal sink. Located on the second floor, accessible by stairs only.
