Winter: Park at ski shop. Ski in/out cabin is ON the trail system. Private, cozy, fully equipped cabin at Garnet Hill in the ADK forest. Gas fireplace, grill and screened in porch. Steps from hiking trailheads. Access (not lakefront) to protected 13th Lake with sandy beach. Two one-seat kayaks come with the rental. Mountain biking (cabin is on the trails), white water rafting, and tubing nearby. Please note: this is a NOT a hotel/condo or business Airbnb. it has been in our family for 30 years!

The Mountain House

Welcome to our newly remodeled Adirondack getaway " The Mountain House". Nestled in the heart of Gore Mountain country, this house is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. It is walking distance to the Garnet Hill Cross Country ski/snowshoe trails. As the snow melts, explore nearby hiking and mountain biking routes or embark on a serene adventure at 13th Lake. For the daring spirit, whitewater rafting awaits. Inside, the house has undergone a complete transformation, offering modern comforts.

Lakeside with direct water access & amazing views

La Bella Loona - A beautiful 1 bd cottage located directly on Schroon lake. Amazing mountain and lake views from every window. 50' of direct water access with small sandy beach, outdoor firepit and grill, and multiple hang out spots. The cottage is newly built and furnished, has an indoor fireplace, central AC, fully stocked kitchen, and screened in room overlooking the lake. There are 2 kayaks available for use. Be assured everything is provided to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Whitewater rafting on the Hudson. 13th Lake for swimming, fishing, and kayaking. Miles and miles of hiking and Mountbiking in the trails 2 miles from the house. An Adirondack four season camp nestled in the mountains of beautiful Indian Lake. This camp borders thousands of acres of "Forever Wild" land in the Hudson Gorge Wilderness area. Walk across the street and bushwack for miles and miles. OK Slip Falls trailhead is less than a mile away. Skiing at Gore Mountain is 10 minutes away. There are endless things to do in the area-fishing, skiing, hiking, multiple museums, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, kayaking and canoeing to start your getaway!

Elsewhere on our family compound, we offer an optional all-natural Japanese hot tub experience as well as a cedar Sauna experience. Walking trails throughout. Lovely architectural details, beautiful furnishings and wonderful location. In summer, we offer wood fired pizza (most but not all nights). Close to Gore and Garnet Hill for skiing.
