Just outside the door, are bush & scenic walks, waterfalls,, swimming in the creek (which ranges from ankle deep to twice an adult's depth.) It's only 2-10 mins drive away from the beach, cafes, general store, farm store, art & craft shops, medical centre, library and tennis courts. There's plenty of outdoors space (1260ha of it) ... My house has lots of character and comfort and is great for pets; friends, family and club get-togethers (4 other houses are available on the farm for accommo too)

Best spot in Whangamata: 1950's beachfront bach

Set amongst pohutukawa trees, this original 50's holiday house is located right on Whangamata beach. Enjoy unobstructed views of the ocean from the deck and huge front lawn. The famous Whenuakura (Donut Is.) is opposite as well as Hauturu Motu (Clark Is.), accessible on foot at low tide - a Kiwi rite of passage. Cooks Beach Studio Escape

A little update for our lovely guests. This studio, as shown in the main photos, is available for stays until 30 April. In May we’ll be closing briefly while we create a beautiful new, larger 30sqm studio in its place. From 1 June, guests will enjoy the brand new space, thoughtfully designed and finished to the same high standard and relaxed coastal style you know and love.
