Escape the city, get back to basics & enjoy the beach. 2 cosy cabins adjoined by a private porch, kitchen & dining area. 1st cabin: queen bed. 2nd: lounge/2 singles. Kitchen has gas stove, sink bench with cold water, crockery, cutlery etc. No electricity in cabins, lighting supplied but recommend you bring a torch/lamp. Shared facilities (approx 40m away) has fridge freezer, power for charging phones, hot shower & separate toilet. Extra sites for campers. $25pp per night - please enquire.

Welcome to our family cozy retreat at 27B Arthur Street, Whitianga! Perfect for up to 4 guests, our charming sleepout offers: 1 comfy queen bed and 1 sofa bed/couch. Enjoy a relaxing soak in the private spa pool. Pets welcome! Your unit has a secure fenced and even has a dog door in the wall. 2 Escooters provided also on request. Amenities include a dishwasher, heat pump, fridge freezer, TV with Apple TV for AirPlay and Netflix, and a child/pet-friendly fenced area. 3 dinutes drive to town

Littlefoot Tiny House

Tiny house complete with small kitchenette and bathroom, outside shower and bath. The cabin has either superking bed or 2 singles. Peaceful rural setting 4 km from the iconic Whangamata beach. Sealed road for cyclists and 2km from beautiful bush walks and waterfall. We are a small farm with cattle, sheep and chickens with an organic garden and orchard. This accomodation is not suitable for children. Self catered but continental breakfast can be supplied on request at $12.50 per person (cash).

Mackua Cabins (Kuaotunu West)

Loads of space, no neighbours, & wonderful views. We are basic but comfortable, with space for a tent if needed & plenty of deck to sprawl out on. Handy to the beach (1km) and to Lukes's kitchen (3.5km), or Matarangi (6km - a little shorter if you want to park at Ring's Beach & take the scenic walk). The sleepout has a queen, and at the minute we have 2 singles set up in the kid's cabin. It is a work in progress (e.g. the kids will get dripped on as they leave their cabin if it is raining!).

'The 'Camp' holidays of yesteryear at Cooks Beach

A sunny north facing section with plenty of room for boats & tents. Nightly rate is for 4 people. A short 5-10min walk to Cooks beach. Great places for safe swimming & watersports. 15 min drive to Hot Water Beach, Cathedral Cove & Hahei. There are 4 cabins. Freezer, washing machine, bbq, 4 Kayaks & 2 bikes for use. Larger groups up to 14 welcome by arrangement. Sheets/towels can be hired. Toilet/shower are accessed from outside. Suits hardy travellers in winter- please view photos.

Tui’s Nest

This beautiful cabin is nestled between Hahei & Hot Water Beach. 5 minutes from the spectacular Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach’s natural Hot Pools, you couldn’t find a better holiday location. Very close to Orua House wedding venue. Brand new with kitchen, lovely bathroom and very peaceful surroundings. It has a wonderful hot shower and a full kitchen, apart from an oven. So that is a microwave, a 2 burner electric cooker, pot, pans & kitchen utensils.

Little Black Box

Enjoy big views in a unique little space of your own. Our air bnb cabin is nestled in a private area at the bottom of our property. There is a separate bathroom facility that includes a toilet and small sink plus a hot outdoor shower. The cabin has a comfortable queen size bed and facilities to make a hot cuppa. We are a 10minute stroll from central Tairua where you can find a number of eating options. The surf beach is a 5 minute drive or 30minute walk.

You will be situated only a few minutes walk from the beautiful white sandy beaches Matarangi has to offer and just around the corner from the 'Dunes Restaurant' and 18 hole golf club. Enjoy uninterrupted views of the lake and mountains while sat on the deck or park up at the bar leaner and watch the golfers on the 6th green, close by.

Jacks Point Retreat

Beautiful view of the Coromandel Harbour, 5 minute walk into town. There are cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops. We offer off street parking there is a small elevated walkway to the one bedroom self contained retreat. Outside deck overseeing the reserve and Coromandel ranges and harbour. Compact but extremely cute this has a king size bed. kitchenette toaster and jug, separate bathroom and toilet.

Our original Kiwi bach (cabin) overlooks one of the Coromandel Peninsula's most beautiful beaches - Otama. It's like stepping back into another time but with all modern conveniences.
