Mesa Hideout, Off-Grid Adobe in Terlingua Ranch

The adobe is perched high on the edge of Jack Eden Mesa in the Chihuahuan Desert. The rustic adobe overlooks the historic Comanche Trail and is built near an ancient Indian campsite as evidenced by metate's, stacked rocks and a petroglyph. This is a very remote location and will provide you with a unique, wild west experience not available many other places. The one room cabin has 4 twin beds. All water is captured rainwater and must be used conservatively. There is limited cell phone service.

Ghost town Ruin

It took my husband nine winters to rebuild the ruin from the miners back in the 40's. It has a 10" memory full size mattress, a light, coffee maker, electric tea kettle, microwave, and an outdoor covered patio area with a refrigerator. It is rustic and special at the same time. It has an electric heater for cool nights and a small AC for warmer ones. We have WiFi on the compound, however, reception in the rock Ruin is iffy at best, reception is in the Patio area of the Ruin and common area,

Experience sunrises, sunsets and silence! No tv! An authentic, one room, earthen “cob house” on 300 private acres, totally off grid, solar powered, with rainwater catchment. Hot outdoor showers under the stars, rock patios, gas stove, mini fridge, king size bed, covered parking, WiFi, fire pit and Tootsie the turtle lives here too! Linens, kitchen utensils and towels provided. Only 30 minutes to Big Bend National Park and Terlingua Ghost town, 20 min to Terlingua Ranch Pool and Bad Rabbit Cafe.

Off Grid Earth Bag Home

Welcome to my earth bag home located 25 minutes outside of the entrance to Big Bend National Park. The house sits on 150 acres with 360 degree views of mountains, mesas, pinnacles, spires, and buttes. There are walking trails throughout the property. Good luck finding another home with as much love put into it! If the Earthbag home is booked I have a home called “Rammed Earth” over the hill that is a work of art. For some reason with online algorithms this home is not showing up as often.

Earth House Marfa

This is a lovingly curated space for passionate travelers, lovers of design, desert sun chasers, star gazers, and folks looking for the relaxation of a slow West Texas pace. This 1920s traditional structure has been extensively refurbished, every detail has been considered. Small/Medium dogs ok (max 40 lbs). $35 per dog per stay non-refundable.

Art-Filled Marfa Adobe

Located at the western edge of Marfa, this cozy, unique adobe offers a true Marfa experience, and the best isolation and comfort for you. The house is air conditioned and heated, has wifi and a smart TV. There is one bedroom downstairs with a comfy queen sized bed and one loft bedroom upstairs with a queen sized bed and fun views. Na Bolom @ La Loma del chivo

This structure was designed and built partially by the same artisan who did a good bit of the foundational work on Eve's Garden, one of the best examples of 'papercrete' building world wide and located in north Marathon. This building, named 'Na Balom' or 'Jaguar House' in Mayan was constructed in the manner of the ubitious conical structures in Southern Italy, all through desert communities in the Middle East, Africa and is comfortable for two.
