Newly decorated, studio unit, situated close to Taupo town, walking distance to shops & restaurants. Fully fenced, with off street parking. A lockable space for 2 pushbikes. Private & self-contained, our studio is cozy when you want to stay in, and easy to come back to when you've been out sightseeing or at the Lake or hot pools. The heat pump & double glazed windows will keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. There's everything you need here for a great stay in our lovely town.

Urban guest suite. Seperate from main house

The guest suite is bright, sunny and great for a short stay. With blackout blinds for privacy, darkness and temperature control. A sliding door separates the bathroom from the bedroom and we provide a heater or portable fan depending on the season. The space includes a fridge, toaster, kettle, Twinings herbal tea, instant coffee, and basic tableware. Please note there are NO cooking facilities (no oven or microwave) due to the small size of the room. Barstool and table for brekkie/cuppa tea.

Kowhai Studio inc breakfast and E-bikes

Nestled in the peaceful area of the Botanical gardens is our place to rest and recharge your mind and spirit. Our retreat is opposite the vast reserve surrounding you with bird song and walks into the lush New Zealand native bush. We have a secluded courtyard to sit and contemplate whilst having a glass of wine and reading magazines from our selection. Enjoy an easy bike to town or "The Lions Walk" on the lakefront on our electric bikes, a super way to see the sights and come home smiling.

Hilden Haven

Be surprised by this tranquil, private and fully self contained downstairs guest suite, all on one level. Situated close to the town centre, lake front, hospital and within easy commute to the Taupo motorsport park. Set in a forest like garden and on the boarder of an attractive reserve you can enjoy your own sunny and secluded space waking up to the sound of the birds. Take a 5min stroll to our popular bar/restaurant or grab a takeaway and finish the evening with a soak in the hot pool.

Cosy and immaculately clean, ground floor, private apartment, includes your own outdoor picnic area with views of Lake Taupo. Set amongst lovely lush gardens, this beautiful two story cottage has the BnB apartment downstairs. We offer extensive local knowledge, and happy to recommend local activities, restaurants, bars and cafes. Easy 10 minute walk to swimming beach and 30 minute walk to town center. Come and enjoy a lovely place to stay, while visiting the spectacular Taupo region.

Semi detached sunny compact studio joined to main dwelling by deck located on our lifestyle section. Studio has a deck divided from the main dwelling by a screen for privacy. Private entrance/lock box. Kitchenette, continental breakfast provisions on first morning supplied - microwave available (no stove top or oven) . Samsung Smart TV (Freeview TVNZ+ etc), you will require your own subscription for streaming services. Off street park. You will need a car as there is no public transport.

Take a break Taupo

This studio is located in a quiet cul de sac close to the lake. The studio is light and airy set in pretty gardens. You will have your own entrance with patio space to sit and enjoy a drink or have a BBQ. We are a 10 minute walk to the lake and a 6 minute drive to town. There is parking for one vehicle or plenty of parking on the road. The Studio has a kettle, toaster, and microwave. There is no oven or cooking facilities other than microwave or BBQ. BBQ must be cleaned after use.

Our home doesn’t disappoint and we are excited to share it with the Air BnB community. A self contained wing of our home sits in a tranquil spot. A five minute drive or a stroll along the lakefront will get you into town. We’re a few minutes walk from the Botanical Gardens and the lakefront :-)

Just a stones throw away from the lake, you will enjoy the views and easy stroll to the lake edge and walkway. You will have the entire bottom level of this home, your own luxury suite with doors opening onto a patio. Second bedroom also available. Your own lounge to watch the sunset across the lake. A kitchenette/laundry is also available for your use. A five minute walk away to Cafe, Restaurant, Fish & Chips and Boat Ramp. Not Suitable for children under the age of 10.

Kowhai Retreat

We are a working professional couple who have lived in Taupo for 30 years. We would like to wish a warm welcome to singles or couples. We do not accommodate infants, children or animals. We are a hop, skip and a jump from the stunning Taupo lake front and easy 25 minute stroll in to town, 3 minutes by car. Happy to host short or longer stays. Super convenient location for our Taupo events such as pickups for the Tongariro Crossing, skydiving & various lake activities.
