Please note the Grounds and external outdoor perimeter of The Barn is protected by CCTV TK Alarm Company. Please know this is a simple place. It once was out buildings, however you will find it warm and homely.

One of two self catering barn conversions 3.5km from Slane Village. When you arrive you will be allocated The Stables or The Paddock. Both accommodation units are the same and located side by side. No 3rd party bookings and our accommodation is not suitable for children under 12 years of age. Including stargazing, as the minimal light pollution offers stunning views of the stars above. Bobbie’s barn also includes a private patio area with a hot tub for guests to enjoy. Flowerhill Cottage

Flowerhill Cottage is a 18th Century barn which has been sympathetically restored to an exceptional standard. In 2021 we have replaced the bathroom, installed new triple glazing and completed redecorated. The accommodation comprises of 2 bedrooms, one bathroom, an open plan kitchen/dining area, and living room with double sofa bed and a wood burning stove. The accommodation can be altered to suit the needs of any guest. Cots, high chairs etc can be provided upon request.

Cosy Loft in the Trees

This gorgeous little hut is tucked into the upper corner of a hay barn and has the cosy feel of a treehouse. Set in a peaceful rural spot overlooking open fields, it offers a real sense of escape. Although close to other buildings where we live, it is completely private. Access is via two short flights of sturdy steps leading to a balcony. Kilkenny city is a 20-minute drive away, but a car is essential as there is no public transport. An ideal place to retreat and unwind.
