Walk the world famous Tongariro Crossing and discover the cycle ways, kayak the Whanganui River and explore the 'Bridge to No Where'. Try trout fishing, a game of golf or visit the Waiouru Army Museum. Enjoy our cosy home with a wood fire whilst taking in the amazing mountain and rural views. Our place is good for couples and families (with kids) or small groups.

An inviting space, this home has been completely refreshed to make your stay relaxing and comfortable. With high natural wood ceilings and lots of light, this architecturally designed chalet makes the most of the beauty of its natural surroundings. There is space for 7 guests and the location is handy to town and the Turoa ski field road. In cold weather snuggle up with plenty of throws, cushions and a warm electric fire. No parties allowed. The Barn with hot tub @ Wood Pigeon Lodge

The Barn is a converted barn on four levels. The interiors are woody, rustic and warm with local historical artefacts decorating the walls. It is set in a peaceful, rural environment, nestled next to bush and looking out to grassy paddocks. Our wood-fired hot tub is available for your private use. Note you may have to heat this yourself, it takes about a couple of hours.
