Over 100 steps from the road below, this 'treehouse' is perched above it all and horizontally oriented on a steep lot between two creeks. The all glass façade creates dramatic views of the redwoods, Mt. Tam and across downtown Mill Valley to Blithedale Ridge. Anchored to granite the house sits on handmade stone walls from rock harvested on the property during construction in the 1960s. Truly a one of a kind stay.

The living room, with 5 meter wood ceilings, river rock fireplace, maple flooring, is bright with sunlight and views of the headland and the redwood trees. We are located 9 min from the Golden Gate Bridge and 12 min from SF, 8 min from Muir woods, 11 min to the stunning Muir beach, 10 min to kayaking among houseboats in Sausalito, 5 min to hiking and mountain biking.

Mill Valley Tree House

This is a lovely home to stay in for those looking to explore the Bay Area. It is a quintessential Mill Valley house near Mt.Tamalpais, Stinson Beach, and San Francisco. It is a short walk to the village where there are shops, restaurants and theaters. Hiking trails are nearby. The house is located on a hillside and there are quite a few stairs . There is a studio apartment downstairs where I sometimes stay there with my poodle, Gigi.
