Nana's Cabin

Nana's Cabin is located on a private pond 4 miles from downtown. This charming log home was built by local builders for their mother. Guests can drive right to the front door. There is a full well equipped kitchen. Bathroom has tub w/shower, washer & dryer. One queen bed downstairs & a queen, a twin and 2 pull out beds upstairs. Note: The Denali National Park entrance is a 3 hour drive from Talkeetna! There is a 1/2 mile walking trail on the property and access to local bike and ski trails.

Large deck, gas barbecue grill, and fire pit! Quiet but close to flight seeing, zip line, and riverboat/fishing tours. Just down the road from the Flying Squirrel Bakery. A short jaunt across the Spur Road to Talkeetna Lakes Park with summer & winter trails. Biking trails straight to downtown Talkeetna!

This downstairs space of the duplex has many amenities that include but are not limited to a high-quality bed, heated floors, waterfall shower with stone floor, full kitchen for cooking, outdoor seating, shared outdoor fire pit (wood provided), beautiful grass yard, and more. The building is a duplex with a unit upstairs and a unit downstairs. It is likely you could hear upstairs guests, specifically during their water use when showering or washing laundry. The area has trails that can take you to the river or just explore the woods of Alaska.

Our cozy cabin is a lovely couple minute walk down to Christiansen Lake public access and less than 4 miles from the Talkeetna town center. Use the grill for a nice lunch in the sun or take the two provided beach cruiser bikes for a ride into town. Talkeetna offers epic flights seeing tours, scenic train rides to Denali Park, jet boat tours and much more. Winter visitors can enjoy miles of groomed cross country ski trails and amazing views of the northern lights.

The Airstrip - Runway Cabin

NEW custom in-ground hot tub built flush with deck. Authentic Alaskan log home on the Talkeetna Village Airstrip. Located just two blocks away from Main Street, enjoy short walking distance to all amenities while having the peace and quiet of a secluded lot. This cozy log home has been recently updated inside from top to bottom including a new kitchen, bathroom and sauna. Enjoy watching planes taking off and landing from the living room windows.
