Located right on Birkie Ridge Trailhead with close access to vast CAMBA trails, this is a nature escape for outdoor enthusiasts who love to bike, ski, hike, and bird watch. Enjoy ski-in ski-out to groomed trails, bike-in bike-out right onto trails, then cozy up by the woodstove or fire-pit at night.

Enjoy this beautiful lakefront property with fun things to do in any season. Backwoods lodge is perfect for large gatherings as there are two cabins on the property for your use. There is a pontoon boat included in your stay (there is NO public boat launch on this lake)! Backwoods Lodge is your home away from home with activities such as a poker table, fire pit, paddle board, canoe, volleyball court, corn hole, private lake access, as well as snowmobile trails. The Cabin for Two sits at the end of a private road on a small wilderness lake, surrounded by county forest. Wildlife is part of daily life here. Loons call across the water, swans and other waterfowl pass through, and deer regularly move through the yard. In the warmer months, bears occasionally travel through the area.

This early 1900s remodeled farmhouse sits on a hill overlooking the beautiful rolling hills, pastures and woodlands of our 100-acre horse farm. In addition to our peaceful rural setting, we are a short drive from Spooner and Hayward conveniences and close to area lakes for recreational activities.
