Countryside views from every window, the surrounding grounds and woodlands are peaceful and relaxing.

To the East we have the coastal town of Seaham Harbour, to the West we have Beamish Museum, County Durham and Northumberland

Stow House Farm Cottages, Cornmill Cottage

Situated on a rural farm on the outskirts of Durham, our three bedroom, stone built cottage has been lovingly converted from the farm’s former cornmill. It can comfortably accommodate six guests and is perfect for larger families or groups of friends. For those with wanting to holiday with larger groups we have Ivy cottage and Bramble Cottage next door which sleep 4 and 3 guests respectively. Beamish museum is located less than a 5 minute drive away. The South Causey is also located less than a 5 minute drive away. Durham city centre is a 15 minute drive away. Newcastle city centre is a 15 minute drive away. The Hilltop pub & restaurant is 1 minute walk from the property. The C2C cycle route is around a 5 minute cycle away. This little oasis of green is in a super handy location on the edge of the greenbelt, yet near the Team Valley, Metrocentre and Newcastle. There's a bus stop directly outside, with buses into central Newcastle every 30min in the day. Watergate Forest Park is right next door, with a fantastic cafe, lake, swans & lots of other wildlife. We're only a couple of miles from the C2C cycle route, with easy access to lots of other cycle routes & walks.

The Annexe

The Annexe on High Woodside Farm is an ideal location for couples or families who want to visit the North East of England It is a 15 minute drive to Durham and a 30 minute drive to Newcastle and Sunderland a 40 minute drive. The Annexe has an open plan kitchen, diner and lounge on the ground floor with a bathroom, consisting of toilet, sink and shower and 2 bedrooms on the first floor. It is very light and modern and has a small courtyard.
