This private site is 2 acres with mature trees, meadows, and wooded buffers, ensuring a peaceful and private stay. There are two cottages available; they can be rented separately or together. Winooski is referred to as “the Brooklyn of Burlington” because of the foodie scene and rich cultural diversity.

The cottage is fully equipped with everything you need with well-appointed kitchen & a King size bed. You'll also have access to high-speed internet & a smart TV. Situated just off the causeway bike path, you'll have access to miles of biking and walking trails. Downtown Burlington is just a 15-minute drive away.

The Shepherd's Crook at Blue Pepper Farm

Tucked in the woods on our working sheep farm, our off-grid tiny house is the perfect escape and stepping stone into the Adirondack mountains for hiking, skiing, and snowshoeing. Enjoy the coziness of the Crook between forays into our north country wilderness! What you will find: adventure, peace, quiet, woodstove, candles, down blanket, fire pit, privacy, composting outhouse, firewood for sale. **Please note there is NO electricity and NO running water. Akin to glamping!

The public boat dock and launch is a short walk down the lane to the river. Conveniently located one exit from Burlington; 16 minutes from BTV airport. Lake swimming beach, hiking, and a winery area all nearby!

Plenty of on-site parking for boats/trailer. We are close to the NY ferry but you don’t need to take a ferry to get to our place.
