Serene San Diego Canyon Getaway

Our cozy studio-style guest house perched above a tree-filled canyon is a serene getaway in the center of San Diego, just a few minutes' drive to all local attractions and most of our other institutions (colleges, universities, hospitals). The casita is comfortable for two or a small family, with full kitchen capacity to prepare at-home meals. Our weather here is temperate, but if the weather gets hot, we have a silent mini-split A/C unit to cool the casita as needed.

Detached 400 sf studio with full kitchen, private redwood deck, and own entrance/parking. Just a mile to the coast, the house is a 15-20 minute walk to the beach and a 25-minute walk into Encinitas, a classic beach surf town. La Jolla Oceanfront Serenity Suite

The Suite has it all except it’s smaller than our grand Master Suite . This place is spiritual. It’s just you overlooking the beach with six thousand miles to go before you see your closest neighbors across the ocean. You are just above the breaking surf. The private entrance has a gentle slope upwards, no steps, room for surfboards and bicycles, and a big spa on the blufftop. There is no beach access here.
