Atelier was inspired by painting holidays in France. It is a spacious studio at Hylands providing a base for escape, rest and adventure. It is cosy with a wood burner, uses high quality materials throughout, curated with love and care. Surrounded by beautiful gardens to explore, where you can dine al fresco or just sit and watch the wildlife and the ever changing views. It is 12 minutes walk to Kendal's many independent shops and restaurants, and 5 minutes to our local pub, the 'Riflemans Arms'.

The Duck Hut

The Duck Hut is positioned on the edge of our beautiful fishing lake. Situated at High Thorn Farm, on the edge of The Lake District. A bit like indoor camping, The Duck Hut is a rustic camping cabin with a few added comforts you don't get in a tent! Simple and basic facilities, quiet and peaceful, you can take in the beautiful scenery and watch the wildlife go by, whatever the weather. Gorgeous 1 Bed Cottage - Tranquil - Lake District

Pip's Hideaway is our gorgeous 1 bedroom pet friendly holiday cottage situated on our family-run livestock farm, in the hamlet of Selside, close to Kendal and the Lake District. It was lovingly created from an old farm building in 2012 to a high standard keeping traditional features. The cottage is the perfect base for exploring all the Lake District has to offer. (A car is highly recommended) We are 9 miles from Bowness on Windermere , 11 miles from Ambleside and 23 miles from Keswick.
