A secure dog-friendly beach home to enjoy. Suited for up to 2 big dogs - but no cats thankyou!

Blue Gum Cottage - Secluded country retreat

Self contained cottage on farmland overlooking the gum trees and horses. Enjoy the cozy indoor fire (wood provided) and outdoor fire pit. Beautiful for a country getaway 10 minutes to McLaren Vale & Willunga and just down the road from Kuitpo forest. Many incredible restaurants and wineries an easy commute. Our light bright and breezy beach house sleeps up to 8 people. Max 6 adults. We look out over the expansive Aldinga Scrub Conservation Reserve where the kangaroos hop and kookaburras laugh! 400m to the famous Aldinga drive-on beach. Beautifully styled throughout, luxurious bed linens & towels, fully equiped kitchen including espresso machine & filtered water tap. Indoor & outdoor dining and lots of room to relax, 2 separate lounge areas (both with televisions). Off-street parking for 3 cars.

Chesterdale is in the heart of Kuitpo forest on 32 acres, surrounded by 8,900 acres of pine plantations and native forests. Perfect for walking and riding, the Heysen and Kidman trails are accessible through our back gate. Famous McLaren Vale and Adelaide Hills wineries are nearby. While the guest suite is attached to the main house, it is quite separate and totally private. A 50 minute drive from Adelaide’s CBD and a 20 minute drive from southern beaches, it is perfect for a weekend escape.
