Cob Cottage

Channel the pursuit of pause in this one-of-a-kind earth house. The cozy retreat was hand-sculpted using local and sustainable natural materials, and features a central living space with cantilevered slab stairs leading to the loft bedroom. Guests have access to the entire cottage and surrounding property. We live in the neighbouring house, and are happy to give advice or answer questions to help you make the most of your stay. The neighborhood is quite rural and mostly agricultural with several farms and a small private vineyard. The home is a 10 minute walk from the beach and a 20 minute walk from a family grocery and deli specializing in local organic produce. Mayne Island has a small community bus. Times and routes are limited, particularly in the winter. It will stop at the driveway. We also have an official hitch hiking system with signed Car Stops where you can wait for a ride. Usually you don't have to wait long. We are happy to offer pickup and drop off at the ferry dock as a courtesy to encourage car-free travellers, on days when the community bus is not running. Please let us know ahead of time that you'll be coming without your own transportation, and we will make sure that either we or the community bus (which will drop you off at our driveway) are there to meet you when your ferry arrives. The BC Ferries terminals near Victoria and Vancouver are easily reachable via public transit from their respective airports and downtowns.

Located in the Historic Hamlet of Olga, Little Stuga provides a quiet retreat conveniently located within steps of the water, two beaches, and a public dock. Moran State Park, Doe Bay, and Mt Constitution are a quick 5 min drive, with Eastsound only 10 min away. Unique fun space! if you are adventurous and want to crash at a very unique spot this is it. First floor has a mini fridge, smart TV, instant hot water kettle, coffee maker, bottled water, day bed with plenty of bedding in storage. Then you climb the ladder and go up to the tower. There is another single bed. Out the door is a private deck overlooking the San Juan Islands with a table and chairs. Take your coffee or wine out and enjoy the day. head back down take a dip in one of the hot tubs

The Nut House

Glamping in the trees. Come experience the beauty and serenity of being in the forest in a unique craftsman treehouse on beautiful Camano Island just an hour and ten minutes north of Seattle. Your private parking and short trail leads to a short cable bridge into a cozy 150 sq. ft. cabin 13 ft above the forest floor. You’ll be surrounded by mahogany walls with a cozy full size futon up in the loft. If the futon is too cozy a campsite is available. The treehouse is warm even on chilly nights.

Comfortable one bedroom cottage with sun-room (in the winter months it is very pleasant on a sunny day, allowing you to relax after a day of exploring the island). There is also a back patio with a great view overlooking the lower pasture and wetland. BBQ and comfortable outdoor furniture. On a hot day the patio offers good shade. It comfortably fits two and is centrally located. An easy 15 minute drive to most attractions. Dog friendly with pet fee (please reach out if you have questions).

Escape the noise and hustle of the city and trade it out for a relaxing stay at our cozy tent. Here you can barbeque up dinner, relax by the fire, sit on the porch and enjoy your favorite movie on the projector. Then you can fall asleep listening to the sounds of nature with a crackling fire to keep you warm. You may wake up to the sound of a rooster crowing as you steep a fresh cup of coffee before you head out on your adventure exploring all the Olympic Peninsula has to offer.

The Coho Cabin - A Beachfront Getaway

Welcome to the Coho Cabin, a tiny house/log cabin perched atop Skagit Bay with direct westerly waterfront views of wildlife, Whidbey Island and the Olympic Mts. Built in 2007, it's an authentic log cabin, custom designed out of Alaskan Yellow Cedar. Enjoy the rustic-yet-elegant vibe, radiant heated floors, cozy loft bed, outdoor bbq and private location. Located 10 min. west of La Conner, guests can browse shops, adventure on unique hikes, or enjoy a relaxing beach stroll.

Once off the 5-7 min ferry ride from Anacortes, in just a couple minutes more you will arrive to our whimsical cottage on the west beach of Guemes Island with its panoramic views & magical sunsets …the perfect place where you can relax in the peacefulness, walk the beaches, find treasures, hike Guemes mountain, explore your favorite water sports, and view our local wildlife of herons, seals, bald eagles, & often orcas. Watch eagles soar over the Salish Sea with the Olympic Mountains and San Juan Islands in the background. You will enjoy beautiful vistas and spectacular sunsets from the porch of the cabin. Our cozy studio cabin is located halfway between the charming town of Anacortes and Deception Pass. Enjoy hiking, fishing, kayaking, and whale watching as well as dining and shopping - just be back in time to watch a gorgeous sunset unfold.
