Eight min drive to Balboa Park/San Diego Zoo and fifteen minute drive to Coronado beach. Coffee and tea is provided, although you will probably prefer a five minute stroll to Santos Coffee house for a cold brew and breakfast bagel.

Though it feels like you're in a secluded retreat, urban amenities are just a few miles away. SD Zoo Safari Park, wineries, breweries & beaches all w/in easy reach.

Your little cottage is a perfect space to relax and refresh. Extra bonus : We deep clean our cottage using environmentally conscious, non toxic practices. High end Ozone technology (kills 99.9% all bacteria) and Thieves cleaner ( aromatherapy ) We also use Eco friendly non toxic and allergenic laundry detergent and no perfumes.

Mike's House and Garden

The care taken to honor the atmosphere of the original 1910 house creates a feeling of another time and place. The house is secluded in a prize winning garden and approached through a stone pergola. The Craftsman furniture, lighting and antique Persian carpets reflect a distant and captivating sensibility. This house has been featured in three books and “American Bungalow” magazine. The garden was mentioned in Sunset Magazine and featured as one of the premier gardens of University Heights.

Cozy Coop with a View

This house is perfect for a private get away. There is a patio bar & a large picture frame window that commands the best views in the area. Sit & enjoy the large patio right off the entryway to the house. I have been told our home used to be a chicken coop in the 50-60's. It is far different now, we just finished a complete remodel. Everything is updated, upgraded & ready for you. Being on the top of the hill you get the nice views, but sounds carries as well, please respect the neighbors.

Cozy Ocean Beach Cottage and Courtyard

Our bright and comfy one bedroom/ one bath beach cottage is the perfect place to enjoy Ocean Beach and San Diego. It is conveniently located three blocks down the street from the beach with a full kitchen, full bathroom and private courtyard. Free parking is provided. We've taken additional steps to reduce the spread of infection due to COVID-19 with enhanced deep cleaning, linens laundered on sanitary cycle, and providing sanitary wipes to guests.
