We offer a cozy retreat away from the hustle and bustle in our charming small town. When creating this hideaway it was a space of healing that I wanted to share with couples, parent & child, or person. Nearby is entertainment of all kinds from parks, trails, boat launches, beaches, boardwalks, to downtown fun. I am in the process of creating stories and adventures for extra fun without tech. This place is a retreat to reconnect with yourself and your heart and your lovers too if that’s for you.
We offer a coffee pot downstairs and small fridge, but our local eateries are very indulgent. We encourage our guests to return to a time when WiFi didn’t exist and people interacted with one another with games, old school movies, scavenger hunts, walks, and outdoors all around us even in the winter sledding at East China Park. If you need it there are places right across the street that bring you back to the present in tech time. Feel free to complete any tasks or fun art projects at the provided work space downstairs. Couples or parent and older child can create fun projects during their stay or explore craft fairs, shows, and events etc. The Dollar Tree in town has fun art supplies for a bargain along with Spring Valley Store. Create something for fun or to take home documenting your adventure. Sometimes these memories are the most valuable. Pets are welcome as long as they are cared for. We have a lead that can be used in the yard so just make us aware you need it. There is outdoor space in the backyard for pets to play and use the restroom. My pets may even love yours too. You can feel free to meditate or just get centered in the back yard or in the patio chairs. There is a small fire pit that can be used. I can assist in showing you where things are located. Pets also can enjoy a walk at the local boardwalk or around the cozy neighborhood. We offer private access to the rental space for privacy and ease. You are provided with a key code that is updated upon your day of arrival and changed upon your check out for the safety and convenience of all. We also offer a 420 friendly environment. Spiritually friendly environment with good vibes and crystal love. Soon we will be adding stories to the space that will send you on scavenger hunts to solve "The Who Did It" and "Fun in Finding Yourself" activities from various time periods. Each of these will lead you on an adventure and are in the works of creation. Also each room in the future will be correlated to that story in time. So if you’re looking for a drama free place that takes you away from WiFi and the hustle and bustle this hideaway is for you. Even if you're just passing through and need a place for yourself or you and a family member, or you and an authentic partner (of all kinds and creeds) this place can be a restful retreat and oasis from the bustle, work calls, and emails. Therefore, our space is best for up to two guests.
For safety reasons (not judgement) we do not accept bookings from third parties or single males or two males that are coming as friends to bring guests to the residence or as friends looking to bring others to the space. Offsite guests are not permitted unless specifically discussed with hosts prior to arrival. This is not its intended purpose. It is a throw back fun delightful creative space for you to return to your homeostasis and build intimacy of all kinds with yourself or with your lover in life and partner. We do make particular arrangements if people are just direct with us about what they need and honest with their intentions.
Marysville is a small quiet town that offers a ton of opportunities for exploration within the nearby areas. If you’re an old soul like me you can take a walk on the boardwalk, sun or snow, and find the book depot box. I have found a good read there before myself. There are local trails you can find on google for walking pets, sharing a stroll with your lover, or just recentering yourself. The East China Park near Marine City boasts disc golf, waterways for kayaking etc, trails, sports areas, pet play areas, and a giant unkept with snow sledding hill in the winter. If nature isn’t your thing and food makes your heart sing there are many places from East towards Marine City to North West to Lexington. There are eateries of all kinds from fine dinning from the waterways to fun diners with delicious food and throwback dates when people went “steady.” There is boating nearby and a dock within 5 minutes for kayaks to large motorized boats. We have outdoor and indoor events throughout St Clair County all the time and if you’re visiting in the fall make sure to try the Cider Mills and doughnuts. Within our community we truly have downtown areas with many small businesses to explore and even museums. The lighthouses are always fun to see and explore. There is a drive inn movie place near Lexington in the summer and Sperrys moviehouse in Port Huron for the any season. This area offers such a variety of events, nature, places to explore and play, and time to just be and live. I returned to this area to call it home, because I always felt it resonated with me no matter what part of my life growth wise I was in. Visit, live, explore, and be free.
