TROPICAL, SIMPLE AND AFFORDABLE!! Hello and welcome to Brisbane! My son, small dog and I have a large leafy Queenslander home in Cannon Hill with roomy private self contained accommodation for up to four people downstairs. Cannon Hill is 8kms from city centre. The space has 1 large bedroom with TV (double bed with new mattress topper) with own bathroom and separate toilet and separate secure entrance so you can come and go without any disruptions. Kitchenette/living room connected to outdoor undercover terrace. This room contains a sofa bed or fold out beds for extra guests. The bedroom can also accommodate the single beds if preferred. Insect screens are installed on windows. A very child friendly property, with a secure tall fence all around and a large trampoline available for use. Offstreet parking for one car is available if needed, (I will put my car out) but there is plenty of free parking in the street outside for car caravan, boat etc. LOCATION Cannon Hill is located approximately 8kms from the CBD or roughly 15 minutes to the city or 15 minutes out to Cleveland and other bayside areas. We are only 20 minutes by car / taxi from the airport. Very handy to access both the Sunshine and Gold Coasts on the Gateway Motorway. There is a car rental office just around the corner! TRANSPORT Train: Cannon Hill Station on the Cleveland Line is 700 metres away. Bus: Route 227 to and from City stops around the corner - 50 metres away- all timetables available. Citycat Ferries: stop at Bulimba where there is a bus (Route 232) that comes to near our home. SEE TRANSPORT DETAILS. Airport or train station pick up can be arranged (small charge) if really needed. All timetables available here. Wireless internet available throughout house, and a small library for relaxing. Am working on a reference visitor information resource section but as a Brisbane person, I am able to provide good information regarding Brisbane's attractions. I have been a traveller so have a good understanding of visitor needs and will be delighted to share whatever I have in my head over a cup of coffee (or something more grown up) on the big back deck upstairs. It is simple, clean and contemporary - a good space to relax after a long business day, conference, student stay or visit to Brisbane.There are leafy options for outdoor eating relaxing in the simple undercover area or in the bamboo garden. FACILITIES Modern kitchenette within the living area with: Induction cooktop, microwave, electric frypan and skillet, toaster, electric kettle, flat bed griller (upon request) and refrigerator as well as tea and coffee making facilities, plates, cutlery for simple independent self catering. Pedestal fan, IPOD dock, large flat screen TV, iron and ironing board, large work table/ desk, plenty of wardrobe space and tallboy for clothes. BBQ is available for outdoor cooking day and night, if you want the real Queenslander experience. Shared front load washing machine and drying area. WIFI throughout. Oil Heater available upon request for a fee of $4 per night. It is a safe oil type heater. See "Other things to Note" below. SHOPPING AND EATING OUT - 700m from two large supermarkets, deli, butcher, newsagent cafe. - 700m from several takeaway food places - I have takeaway menus available. Organic supermarket is about 600m away. Nightly Rate Includes - Accommodation for first person plus $15 for each additional guest. There is a sofa bed that can accommodate 1-2 people / children or one adult plus I have another single mattress on floor if preferred. Bedroom is quite a large room. - Tea, coffee, milk, bread, butter and jams will be in fridge to get you started. After that I leave it up to you to purchase your own supplies. - Fresh linen, towels, soaps, shampoo etc. Supplied linen will be changed after one week for longer stays or upon request. - Access to wireless internet as long as use is not in the mega proportions for movie downloads and TV streaming. CHECK IN / CHECK OUT Our standard check in time is after 2pm and check out before 10am. We are happy to be flexible on this wherever it doesn't conflict with other bookings, please just communicate with us about what you need. Minimum 3 nights night up to a maximum stay of four weeks. If you do require a longer stay, please get in touch to discuss further as I am flexible. NO SMOKING This is definately a non smoking home. Please do not smoke anywhere in or around the house. I am an Airbnb user for overseas trips so hopefully have covered the basics for a simple affordable alternative for your stay in Brisbane.     Our home is a modern double story residence. You as our Airbnb guests will have exclusive use of our facilities as we only rent out 1 bedroom. We are located in a quiet neighbourhood, but close to both Rail and Bus. We are 5 minutes walk to shops and supermarkets, and drive to Bulimba which has many casual restaurants and bars. Just a 10 minute walk to Morningside village which has shops, bars and restaurants. We are 15 mins from airport and 20 mins to the city by train.
    Guests will enjoy a large upstairs bedroom room (area 3.7m x 3m) with a Queen size bed and their own private bathroom with a shower, bath and wash basin and separate private toilet. Although we have a 4 bedroom house we only rent out one bedroom so guests have exclusive use of our facilities. We will supply linen, towels and toiletries. The bedroom room has a ceiling fan and is also air conditioned if needed. Guests may also access the kitchen for tea and coffee but no cooking facilities will be available other than the use of our microwave. Tea/coffee and toast will be provided for breakfast. We have a pool and large outdoor entertainment area and landscaped backyard which guests can use. We have a Manx cat called Molly who has the run of the house and is very friendly.
    Cannon Hill is an older suburb of Brisbane but is full of life and many different styles of housing . Our area has many young families so you will hear some noise occasionally from children playing. Parking is available on the street and is not an issue. Our area is flat for walking and the train station that can take you to the city, Southbank and other attractions is only a 10 min walk away.

    We welcome you to our large fully self contained, light filled, airconditioned apartment which has two spacious bedrooms, one with a king, and the other with two king singles ( or can be set up as a king bed if you prefer for your group, just let me know at time of booking) Wifi included. Huge tv in living area. Located in a beautiful quiet leafy suburb just a few kms from Brisbane city and close to all amenities. Easy access to public transport and local shops, restaurants, cafes etc.
    Fully self contained, light filled, modern loft style feel apartment with extra high ceilings in tiled, combined living kitchen area, on a quiet, upmarket, leafy residential street. This spacious 2 bedroom flat attached to main house but completely separate. Private entrance with own peaceful outdoor courtyard area fringed by mature golden cane palms, with outdoor seating, to take in the morning sun, or afternoon drinks. Modern kitchen with luxury stone benchtops and plenty of storage. All amenities including dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, fullsize stainless steel fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, all utensils, crockery and pots and pans. Also Blender, nespresso machine and automatic front loading washing machine. Four person dining table that can extend to seat six, plus extra seating at the large kitchen island. Tea, coffee, juice, milk, bread, eggs, butter, spreads and some other snacks will be in the unit to get you started, plus a variety of condiments in pantry. Iron and ironing board in cupboard, as well as a clothes airer if you need to do some laundry. Huge TV in living area with comfortable reclining leather lounge and reclining armchair. Reverse cycle airconditioner in main living area for comfort no matter what the weather. Wifi included. Internal stairway leads up to 2 large bedrooms – Main bedroom has a king bed and its own reverse cycle air conditioner, and second reverse cycle air conditioned bedroom has twin king singles ( which can be set up as a king bed instead of two singles if you prefer for your group - just let us know when you book.) All beds super comfortable. Main bedroom has a large built in wardrobe.. Also on second level is a large bathroom with shower, toilet and vanity. In landing area there is a separate private study nook with desk. Quality linen, towels, soaps, shampoo etc. -If you have 3 children, that's ok, I can supply you with a foam mattress you can put on the floor - I know how hard it is to get accommodation with 3 children :) just let me know when you book. Supplied linen can be changed upon request for longer stays. Plenty of free on street parking available, right in front of house. (Carport not available for your use ) Flat has external and internal stairs.(Not suitable for wheelchairs or those with difficulty with stairs.) No pets in home but lots of birds and wildlife in area - you'll more than likely see or hear our resident possums at night, and the odd koala has been spotted occasionally along with lots of kookaburras, rainbow lorikeets and other bird life. No smoking in home or on patio area. We like to give guests privacy and leave them to do their own thing, (as that is how we like it when we are Airbnb guests) but we are always contactable if needed.
    Quiet family neighbourhood. 3 minute walk to hectares of natural bushland with walking trails, where koalas have been sighted. Rarely is there such a large amount of natural bushland so close to a major city. Just 12 minutes drive into the city on a good run, also 12 minutes to the airport. So central - Carina really is is a well kept secret.

    My townhouse has a backdrop of 50 hectares of protected forest with loads of walking tracks. The entrance to the forest is just 100 metres from my door. There is also a flowing creek in the complex which is like having a rainforest at your doorstep. You have a private bedroom with a queen size bed, a remote control ceiling fan/light and your own bathroom, but will share the kitchen with me. You have a large smart tv in your bedroom - although the antenna connection is sporadic, the Netflix app works well and you are able to use my account to watch movies and tv shows. My WIFI is strong. I have two cats who are very friendly but are indoors only so I do ask that care is taken when entering and leaving the property. There are two pools in the complex which are set in a beautiful backdrop of greenery. My townhouse has a couple of outdoor spaces for you to sit back and relax in. There is always the sound of birdsong here which is lovely. Public transport to the city is easy. A 20 minute walk will take you to Morningside railway station which has a direct line to South Brisbane where the iconic Southbank Parklands are situated. A five minute Uber drive will take you to a ferry terminal where you can catch a citycat ferry to New Farm, Southbank or the city. A 1km walk will take you to the nearest bus stop with a direct trip to the city. There is a visitor carpark at the entry of the complex but I also have a visitor car space on the road just opposite my townhouse (parallel parking). If you’re uncertain park in the visitors carpark at the entry and I’ll explain where to park when I talk with you. Just a five minute drive away are supermarkets, cinemas and restaurants. A ten minute walk will take you to a great Thai restaurant and cafe. I provide tea, coffee and milk. I’m also very friendly and will be happy to share information about the local area with you.

    This cosy flat is close to Murarrie train station, the airport and local shops. The flat has amenities for washing clothes and air mattresses should you need an additional quest stay. The access is easy and no stairs inside the unit. The flat is fully self contained and has lots of charm. Guest have access to the backyard, courtyard / barbecue and I am nearby or just a call away if guests need any help 😊.
    There is little garden court yard next to the stairs that is available to quests, a relaxing space to have a coffee and listen to the birds 🐦
    We are very close to public transportation, bus and trains. A convenient 7/11 store is on the same street as well as takeaway shop, coffee shop and local newsagents. Only 2 minutes to cannon hill shopping precinct.

    We have taken the time to find a brand new mattress and quality linens to ensure a great nights sleep. You will have privacy in your room and dedicated bathroom as it is one end of the townhouse. We want our hosting to make you feel as comfortable as you would be at home.
    We are able to access the airport and CBD directly from the rail station across the road. This also connects with the Gold Coast. The property faces parkland so it is quiet, NO Main Road traffic. If you wish to go for a meal a quick walk around the corner will bring you to a variety of restaurant's including Coffee Club, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Contemporary Aust(including a great bar) IGA with fresh deli & a First Choice Bottle shop. This area is also within walking distance to Southgate Business park in Cannon Hill. We are unique in that we back onto parkland, with a creek and have birds visiting us on the fence daily. Having lived in the neighbourhood for 20 years we are able to provide recommendations on what to do close by. The Brisbane Exhibition and Convention Centre is only 15 mins by rail and we are a 1min walk to Cannon Hill station(perfect for conference & exhibition attendees).

    Newly built 3 Bedroom Townhouse spread over 3 stories. The home is fully self contained with modern furnishings and has has all the features and attributes to give it a homely feel. With a private parking bay right by the front door. A large balcony of the living area, as well as a private balcony off the main bedroom. It is perfect for a family visiting the Brisbane area or for someone visiting for business looking for a central location. Ideal for short or long term stays.
    The front townhouse on the block with a huge corner balcony, my favorite thing about my home is that it catches the sun from morning till night. Meaning the living area balcony is a great spot for an outside breakfast lunch or dinner, while the main bedroom balcony is perfect for reading a book while the sun goes down.
    Quiet neighborhood in a great location to access anywhere the in the Brisbane region. 15 minutes drive from Brisbane city center, walking distance to plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants. Large park just 200m walk away used as a cycle track and dog park with a skate park situated in the corner.

Guests have access to all kitchen facilities and are welcome to lounge around in the common lounge / dining area Morningside is a convenient location for the CBD, Fortitude Valley & Oxford St Bulimba. There are a number of fabulous cafes and eateries in the vicinity and of course the liveliness of Oxford St 5 minutes drive away. - Brisbane Airport is 15 minutes drive away (or a $30 taxi ride). - A short drive (or bus trip) will get you to the Cannon Hill shopping precinct (Coles, Woolies, Aldi & K-Mart) or to the Carindale Westfield Shopping Centre. - The bus stop into the CBD (or in the other direction to Carindale Westfield Shopping Centre) is within 1 minute walk. - Morningside train station is within 5 mins walk. Trains to Southbank take 15 minutes and Roma St take 20 minutes. - Buses to Kangaroo Point depart just near the train station and take 15 minutes. - We are a 10 minute drive to the motorway for easy access to the Sunshine Coast or Gold Coast / Surfers Paradise.
    The neighbourhood is quiet residential. The townhouse complex is clean, quiet and the neighbours are friendly and helpful

    Simple, rustic and comfortable sanctuary close to airport and Port Brisbane. The property has a country feel and is within 15 minutes of the city by train, close to shops parks and buses. The airbnb is under new management since unfortunate incident on New Years. (see reviews) Please be reassured this is not normal and wont happen again.

    The neighborhood is quiet and safe with a very rural outlook. It has easy access to the city via public transport, Airport and Port Brisbane. Parks and local shopping are all within walking distance. There is a large fenced yard for dogs or children to play safely

    The house is situated close to everything. Jump on the train and you can be sitting on the beach in an hour or in the city in 15 mins. Close to all ammenities, restaurants, bars, coffee shops and supermarkets. A hop skip and jump to a train or the bus. Close to the airport.
    Basically guests can use all spaces apart from the other bedrooms. The house has a fully equipped kitchen. The shared bathroom is big enough for a party. Sit and watch the sun go down on the back balcony. Sit at the retro bar and have a drink and listen to some tunes. Laundry and storage is downstairs in the garage.
    The house is situated within walking distance to shopping centre, cafes, restaurants and bars. Public transport is the key to get you into the city in a flash. From there you can go anywhere. BULIMBA and Hawthorn provide the area with cinemas and access to the city cats. A romantic and inexpensive way to see all of the city

  • Jest bardzo blisko przystanku kolejowego, zaledwie 5 minut. Pociągiem do dworca centralnego nie jest zbyt daleko. Blisko lotniska również. Zameldowanie było łatwe. To miejsce jest lśniąco czyste i wygodne. Wspaniale było mieć własną łazienkę i telewizor. Miałem nagły wypadek o 1 w nocy i Daniela była bardzo słodka w pomaganiu mi !!     Guests have full access to kitchen, living and dining rooms as well as out door entertaining area with a bbq.
    Our house sits in between the beautiful Morton Bay and a 5 minute drive will take you to the restaurants and bars along the marina. The city is a short 25 minute drive and the Gold Coast is just under an hour south.

  • Naprawdę uwielbiałem nasz czas w Mindy's. Gospodarze byli bardzo mili i pomocni. Ponadto dom był nowy i piękny. Pokój miał wszystko, co potrzebne - bardzo wygodne łóżko, klimatyzację, szafę, a nawet balkon, na którym moglibyśmy zjeść i cieszyć się widokiem. Śniadanie wliczone w cenę było naprawdę pięknym dodatkiem. Chociaż dom znajdował się dość daleko od CBD, był idealny dla turystów, którzy są nowicjuszami w mieście - wszystkie sklepy i transport publiczny w pobliżu, spokojne wieczory, brak głośnego dźwięku w nocy itp. Naprawdę polecam pobyt nad Mindy's!

The house is both close to the city and very tranquil. People often say that it is like a resort - lots of trees and birds outside. The bus stop from which you can reach the city is just a few minutes away. We have a pet cat Mary who is very friendly. Great house for long and short stays.
    Your bedroom has a double-size bed, a big wardrobe, a desk and a chair. It's got a window, high ceiling, shutters and flyscreens in the windows. It's modern, fresh and cosy.
    One of the nicest neighbourhood in the entire Brisbane - family houses with wonderful views at the city and located on hills.

    In the house • Free Wifi • A large lounge area set up with 55cm Smart TV, Netflix, Stan, Amazon Prime and YouTube. • A sitting area where you can chill or sit with someone and chat • Dining room for eating • Fully fitted kitchen with all mod cons • Parking – on street or in the driveway as long as you don’t mind moving the car if you park someone in. • An office you can use if I’m not (multiple screens, desk, keyboard, printer, scanner etc) • Laundry with front loading washing machine and clothes dryer (in garage as we rarely use) • Main bathroom with full sized bath, shower etc – Toilet is separate • Backyard (although it does come with a big dog (he’s nice)….more on that later) Who will you share with? NOTE: for bookings over 7 days a $50 cleaning fee applies - I can't add this to the cleaning fee on the booking as it applies it to all bookings and I don't to want to charge a cleaning fee when it's short term.
    Tingalpa is a suburb of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It is located 10 kilometres east of the CBD. It is very handy to the Brisbane airport which is 10-15mins by car just over the Gateway Bridge. Tingalpa has two small local shopping centres: Twin Parks Shopping Centre located on Wynnum Road, Tingalpa - and one located on Belmont Road, Belmont. There are two large shopping centres within a 10-minute drive; Wynnum Plaza has Kmart, Coles, Woolworths, Dan Murphys, Fitness First and 59 Specialty stores whilst Carindale Shopping Centre features Myer, David Jones and a large selection of specialty shops. Both the Twin Parks and the Cannon Hill shopping centres are basic centres. There are some great eating places close to our home. Mother Africa is a standout at the end of our street as is Paw Paw Asian in Twin Parks Shopping Centre, a short 800m walk from our home. The neighbourhood is quieter than some closer to the city so good if you need some peace and quiet.

    This is a cosy cottage with beautiful natural gardens and hedged that make the place lovely and serene. the cottage is actually in the the middle of the busy bulimba/oxford street cimena and dining district...we have a beautiful cavalier dog that is in and around the property. there is a living room off the bedroom that is actually more like an ensuite to the room.

    Cool, comfy and close to the CBD. If you're coming to Brisbane to visit the CIty, QPAC or Southbank Parklands, then my place will suit you perfectly. Just 6 km to the city, it is a quick drive or better still, the express bus is at the door and will have you in town in around 10 minutes.
    During your stay, you will have the lower floor to yourself (apart from my office) which includes your bedroom with TV and table , a private bathroom , toilet , and back deck surrounded by native trees.There is basic kitchenette with Microwave , toaster , kettle and fridge with crockery and cutlery, and I am working on improving that as of Xmas 2020. The lower floor is segregated by a locked door , so your privacy is assured and if you wan't to chat or ask a question, I'm just upstairs. Your bedroom was originally my Theatre Room, so it is quiet , has AC, and can be darkened during the day if you need to sleep!
    Holland Park is close to the City and the Freeway is close by , so it is easy to get to the Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast.The famous "Gabba" cricket ground is a short drive away and many local Coffee shops are close by. There are shops nearby and a supermarket is a 5 min drive away. There are two coffee shops in walking distance , and the local precinct of "Stones Corner" , with it's cafe's and shops is a short drive
