You'll love our cabin in the woods! Once a historic mercantile, the Wissahickon Cabin has been transformed into a cozy cabin for 2 - 4 guests. The cabin is situated in the forest and visible from the Gandy Dancer Trail. The front porch boasts an access path directly to the popular Woolly Bike Trail. Our cabin is secluded in the woods, but it's less than a 5-minute drive to downtown St Croix Falls, Interstate Park, dining, shopping, and entertainment. Enjoy a peaceful getaway in the north woods!

Country location, peaceful and quiet. Apartment above detached garage, full kitchen, small deck and private stairway with beautiful view of the surrounding trees. Easily accessible, 3 miles from I-94 and St. Hwy. 29, 1/2 way between the university cities of Eau Claire and Menomonie, 1 1/4 hours from St. Paul/Minneapolis. There is a growing art and music scene, with multiple music festivals, etc. The area also has fine restaurants, theaters, parks, and historical sites. Come to be restored.

Cozy cabin on Elk Lake

This cozy cabin, perched above a quiet, beautiful lake, with views of soaring pine trees and wildlife is a great place for relaxing next to the warm fireplace, or taking a dip in the cool water. If you're feeling adventurous, consider hiking nearby trails, or enjoying a game, or a laugh with family and friends around the fire pit. The cabin sits about 80 steps (a challenge for some) above Elk Lake. Elk lake is a no wake lake that is great for fishing, kayaking (we have two), and swimming.

Spot birds from the yard, bike or ski the Red Cedar Trail, or grab a fresh pastry and local brew at Scatterbrain Café. Quiet, scenic, and relaxing—your retreat awaits.

Lil’ Kickback on Elk Creek (Eau Claire area)

Remote, tranquil, quiet and private getaway on 5.8 acres on the banks of the Elk Creek; only 1.5 hours from the Twin Cities! This creek is known as a class 1 trout stream. Guests can enjoy fishing, sight seeing, canoeing and kayaking the Chippewa River or Elk Lake, biking, hiking, atv/utv and snowmobile trails nearby as well. Enter a world of peace and calm deep in the woods. This is a beautiful rustic cabin that has been beautifully restored. Permit issued and inspected by Dunn County.

Elk Creek Inn Historic Dam Keepers Cottage

Get away from it all! This charming little home is perfectly located on a dead-end street, a short drive to either Menomonie or Eau Claire. Upon arriving, you will feel a sense of calmness and seclusion. Relax to the sounds of the falls and the birds singing. Wander the gardens and play in the spring fed lake. Read a book in the hammock or simply stare at the reflection on the calm lake. We offer a canoe, rowboat, 2 kayaks, and S.U.P for exploring as well as a grill and fire pit area.

Red Fern Cabin on Elk Creek

This cabin is nestled on the banks of Elk Creek. The creek wraps around the entire property and is a Class 1 trout stream. The camp site is secluded and private. There is a tri-pod for cooking. It is solar powered and has a gas fireplace. It comes equipped with a full size mattress in loft and a full size futon. No linens/pillows are provided, so be sure to pack your own. No running water inside cabin but solar powered lights. Site utilizes a composting toilet. Dunn County Licensed

The Emery Inn

This two-bedroom, one-bath *second story* loft style living space is perfect for your stay in Eau Claire. Boasting a washer and dryer, full kitchen, keyless entry, many windows and comfortable furniture – you will feel right at home in this cozy and functional space. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood minutes away from downtown and UW-Eau Claire. This area offers many options for dining, the arts and shopping. Everything you could want or need is a short drive, bike ride or walk away.

Broken Willow Bungalow

This cute barn-like bungalow sits at the end of a 2-mile winding river road surrounded by nature. The Chippewa River is within walking distance to fish, kayak or just relax on the banks. You will find three bedrooms, one bathroom, a full kitchen, Living room, and sunroom on the main level. Climb the century old steep and narrow ladder-like steps to 1 more bedroom, a play room and access to the roof top deck. Feel free to bring your well-behaved dog(s) to our pet friendly home.

Erin and Brad Amundson own Valley Golf and Events. 1210 is adjacent to 1212 Golf View Dr if you need more space rent both You will have access to go golfing, biking, trout fishing, boating, snowmobiling, 4 wheeling and picturesque drives through the hills and valleys of an amazingly beautiful area! Spacious Country Studio/Loft

Our spacious 900 sq. ft. studio/loft was once the art studio used by a local children’s book illustrator. You will notice some of her artwork and photos displayed throughout. The studio was designed with the intention of accommodating 2– 4 people. Our studio is beautiful, peaceful and private. Extra sanitizing practices are being taken for your safety.
