The cottage reminds me of the way coastal homes used to be: simple ; yet, thougthfully integrated into the environment. Roanoke Island is the home of the longest running outdoor drama, "The Lost Colony", Elizabethan Gardens, and North Carolina Aquarium. It is a 10 minute drive to the ocean. There is much to do and see in this area.
