Old Mountain Road Retreat Raglan

Situated in the secluded Waitetuna Valley is our modern but rustic, luxury accommodation. This unique rural getaway is less than 30 mins from Hamilton and 15 mins on to Raglan. There is one large bedroom upstairs with a King bed and a second queen bed downstairs. ( suitable for couples, small adult groups and children over 12 ) Soak up the peaceful ambience in our beautiful wood-fired hot tub or go for a short walk to our lovely creek where our pet eels are plentiful and enjoy being hand fed.

Our welcoming house is within walking distance of town and the wharf so you've got your pick of the great restaurants and shops Raglan has to offer. There are two large living areas both with their own fireplaces, and a heat pump if you are too relaxed to light them - a perfect winter escape! In summer you'll enjoy sitting in the large garden listening to the birds or watching the sun go down through the manuka tree. Kids will enjoy the games and toys here, parents will enjoy the peace!

Breathe the fresh country air at this contemporary architecture retreat. Unwind and enjoy being close to town, surf, and everything Whāingaroa-Raglan has on offer. Watch the sunset from the deck, cozy up in front of the fire, chill out in a vintage-styled space or grab a flat white from the cafe from around the corner before wandering down to the harbour. The perfect surfer’s retreat on the west side of the one-way bridge, just a quick drive to Whale Bay. A great spot for kids! And pets are welcome!
