Atarau Beach Retreat

Relax and unwind in this beautiful studio apartment. Enjoy the view of Moonlight Bay, and the tranquil surrounds of native bush and bird song. Take the private walkway to the bay for a swim, or see it from a different perspective using the kayaks provided for guests. Vibrant Raglan township is a quick five minute car trip (or enjoy the 30 minute walk), where you can find great restaurants, cafes, beaches, and other amenities. Walk along the beach to The Wharf for fish and chips at low tide.

Let us share our dream with you! Our home has recently been completed and offers stylish and open plan living with water access 30m away. Watch the children paddle board and swim whilst you relax on our large deck overlooking the peaceful estuary at Rangitahi. A walking track in front of the house meanders through the development and passes The Hut cafe 100m up the road. The laid back vibe of Raglan town is a short 20 minute walk away which is filled with trendy shops, cafes and restaurants.

This unique retreat oozes style and makes the most of nature with its individual pods linked by boardwalks. Plenty of privacy for all, fabulous views and a chance to have a holiday with a point of difference. Everyone loves the outdoor shower in its private fernery off the master bedroom, while the second bathroom is equally luxurious opening onto its own private garden. An easy 6 min walk to the surf at Whale bay, Indicators or Outside Indicators a few mins drive to Manu bay or Ngarunui beach. Warm and cosy with a beautiful open fire, modern insulation & large double glazed sliding doors. The heat pump heats the studio within 15mins.

Te Aka Raukura - close to town & surf

Unwind and enjoy being close to town, surf, and everything Whāingaroa-Raglan has on offer. Watch the sunset from the deck, cozy up in front of the fire, or grab a flat white from the cafe around the corner. WINTER UPDATE: we’ve stocked up on firewood, the firebox is ready for chilly nights. The perfect surfer’s retreat on the west side of the one-way bridge, just a quick drive to Manu Bay. A great spot for kids! And pets are welcome!
