Only 2 hours driving from either Tauranga, Rotorua or Gisborne - a good resting point. Lovely quiet cottage set on lifestyle block with many chickens and sheep. 3 minutes driving to fabulous Waiotahi beach and only 10 minutes into Opotiki for cafes and shopping. Peace and tranquility - leave the city behind.

Surrounded by the bush, our unique cosy studio is a welcome retreat. Breakfast and good coffee is provided for our guests. Situated at the top of a hill with good views. We are within walking distance to the beautiful Nga Tapuwai o Toi walking track, 5 mins drive to Ohope beach and Whakatane town. Listen to the call of native birds, including Kiwi. Home heating is provided by a beautiful freestanding fire fuelled by wood harvested from the property sustainably while hot water is from our solar system ( bathing in the sunshine )

Being right on the river, only a short stroll to the beach, and next to all the bike trails - it's the perfect holiday home to enjoy all your favorite activities from boogie boarding, biking and fishing to reading, napping and board games.
