Relaxing is also a part of renewal so on-site activities and the surrounding communities offer plenty of recreation and tourism opportunities. Marmutt Woods is a place to step out of daily distractions to relax and refocus. Even if you are here primarily for some other reason, we hope you'll take advantage of the quiet time and provided materials.

Small but cozy apartment like setting. Fresh modern updates give you the outdoors feel that Northern WI provides, as well as the modern feel that many enjoy. The living room provides you with a comfortable couch to relax, with a lake view. A full sized deck to relax on. One bedroom provides you with the typical bed/dresser setup for a great night of sleep. While the 2nd bedroom has a trundle bed (2 single beds), it also doubles as a office space which you can do your work while away from home.

Our cottage on Lake Minocqua is ideally located to enjoy the walkability and atmosphere of island life! Keep your boat at our pier during your stay and enjoy the chain of lakes, stroll around town, or simply sit on the deck and watch the boats go by. We made great efforts to restore the character of our cottage by salvaging and refinishing much or the original woodwork, while modernizing some features for a comfortable experience! We think you'll love this island gem!
