The home sits directly behind The Guesthouse at Graceland. The open concept layout makes this home great for families. Country get-away! Only 30 Minutes from Downtown Memphis, TN, yet out in the country on a 62 acre estate. Nature trails through the property allow for beautiful, peaceful strolls. We have fishing (in season). **** This cottage is set back in the woods and there is not a TV in this unit but there is Wifi. We have created a serene and unplugged experience. We have the "Wynnewood Elizabeth Cottage" and the "Wynnewood Jettie Jewel cottage" on our property that are listed separately.

Industrial farmhouse style meets southern charm on an idyllic horse boarding family farm safely outside of Memphis. Perfect location both for sightseeing in Memphis or bypassing the city entirely. Take a walk among the horses to decompress. Full kitchen and a large bathroom. No exterior windows. Guests sleep well in our quiet and private space. Due to safety concerns, no children under 12. Whispering Oak Secret Hideaway

Whispering Oak was lovingly built in 1908 by the Mothershed family. It is adorned by a massive Oak tree that holds a swing. We have divided the house into two private apartments. Secret Hideaway is on the right. There are 3 spacious rooms. Living/dining with adjoining kitchenette, large bedroom with closet with en-suite luxurious bathroom with walk in shower. There a lovely front porch with swing that provides amazing sunset views and a beautiful backyard with large covered portico.

Whispering Winds! (Hot Tub and Pool)

Whispering Wind Sunsets is built on the Mississippi Delta Bluff overlooking thousands of acres of farmland towards the west which has gentle breezes and beautiful sunsets. The house is an open loft concept with cathedral ceilings and six skylights . The natural light lets you enjoy a 26 foot vertical expanse of the living room, dining room and kitchen. Whispering Wind Sunsets is next door to The Hernando Hideaway. Rent them both for larger family gatherings! Disability Accessible!

Log Cabin with Covered Bridge

Our property isn't just a place to spend the night, its a destination. A place to relax. We have been blessed to call this beautiful farmstead home for over 30 years. Upon entering the property you will traverse along the winding drive, rolling hills, across the lake on the covered bridge, and up the hill to the log home. Be sure to look around for the many deer, geese, ducks, turkeys, and other wildlife that also call our farm home.

It really is a home a-way. This home has been furnished for travelers who prefer a home away. If you want to bake a pan of brownies or cook a full meal you will have what you need to do so. I have provided a crock pot so you can go exploring and come home to your own cooked meal.
