Our modern, well-equipped home sits right by the sea with breathtaking mountain views, surrounded by pristine Arctic nature. Spot reindeer, otters, moose, or even whales, and watch the Northern Lights from the porch. Steps away, enjoy a panoramic sauna by the water. A traditional BBQ hut is available as an optional rental. This is our beloved home, and many guests tell us they fall in love with it too. Few places blend comfort and wilderness like this. We never tire of it—and hope you will, too.

Rustic ocean lodge with sea-side sauna

Beautiful and rustic house by the sea in the countryside 1 hrs drive from the city of Tromsø. The area is great for hiking, skiing, fishing with the midnight sun in the summer and aurora borealis during winter. Included in your stay there is a woodfired sauna placed by the sea with a fireplace and a cosy indoor chill-zone with a charge of NOK 250,- per sac of firewood used to heat these facilities . To prepare and fill the hot tub for you to use during your stay, we charge a fee at NOK 2000,-

Cozy independent Aurora SPA homestay

This tiny guesthouse has the most beautiful view directly from your kitchen and sleeping room window. Since there's no street lights around, it's the perfect place to watch the Aurora and enjoy a relaxing private getaway in the Arctic. We live next door with our 6-year old son and cat. We are at work from 8:00 are at home from about 4:30pm and on weekends. Liv´s beach-house ligger på idylliske Bøvær med ei fantastisk sandstrand. Slapp av i rolige omgivelser med lyden fra bølgene. Huset har fiber, perfekt for hjemmekontor. Fra balkongen kan du nyte utrolige solnedganger og flammende nordlys. Langs havveien til Skaland- 4 km- står naturopplevelsene i kø - hvite sandstender - hav og fjellformasjoner. Skaland byr på kafe, flott matbutikk og en lokal pub. Merket turløype til " Husfjellet"- 650 m høy - starter v/ matbutikken. Velkommen til Bøvær.

Henrybu Comfortable house by the fjord.

The house is from 2004, situated 25 meters from the sea, with a beautiful view from the living room and terrace. It is modern equipped with dishwasher, microwave, freezer and all the kitchen equipment you will need, floor heating in the bathroom, laundry room and entrance area. The bedrooms are quite spacious with good quality beds. During spring, summer and autumn a boat for 4 people, with an outboard engine, is available for rent. Perfectly situated for day trips around the area. :)

It is in the nature surrounded by the ocean, white coral beaches, islets and reefs, you can see this trough the apartment windows. Park right outsidee and indside you really have everything you might need.

Do you want to stay in a beautiful remote place, while still connected to the city? Grøtfjord is located just a 40 min. drive from Tromsø. Close to some of the areas most amazing mountains, fjords, ski and climbing areas. a. Big appartment with 1 bedroom that holds a king size bed and one bunk bed. There is a fold out sleeping couch in the living room. All facilites, towels to firewood are included! A car is needed to get to grøtfjord. The hosts live in a different section of the house.

The site is located directly below the northern light belt with little light pollution, 50 minutes from Tromsø. It is recommended to rent a car and we offer a discount deal at Hertz.

Cozy cabbin by the sea, under the Norten Lights

Cabbin only 26 km from Tromsø Airport, 20 km from City senter , a perfect location for watching the mythical northern lights! The Polar night lasts from about 27 November to 21 January. The sun stays below the horizon for the entire period. The midnight sun is visible from about 20 May to 22 July. Northern lights you can spot during the period from the beginning of September to the middle of April.
