The solar Polynesian Cabana has its own boardwalk through the tropical garden. Luxuriously appointed with bamboo flooring a Balinese carved 4 poster queen fine cotton sheets and linens. The Cabana has aircon ceiling fan floor to ceiling louvres and fully screened sliding doors. The living area, bathroom and the kitchenette are semi outdoor with a two gas burner stove top, a mini oven and a bar fridge. The deep salt 10m pool is shared with the 3 other guest houses. Only 400m to the beach.

Idriess Cottage

A self contained, one bedroom cottage with all amenities on the edge of Herberton on the Atherton Tablelands. The cottage has a verandah with bush views and BBQ. Part of a secure 1 hectare (2 acres) estate, the cottage is 200m from the main historic homestead. There is plenty to do here, including museums, bush walking and pack donkey treks, day trips to some real outback towns and other attractions, all only 1.5 hours' drive from Cairns International Airport. Centenary Park and bus stop are within walking distance. . We have renovated and decorated this genuine old town cottage so you can lay back and relax. Our two rooms are fully airconditioned and share a bathroom. The big wooden windows allow a glimpse into the colorful garden.

FNQ Blooms Tropical Flower Farm Lodge

Our Tropical Flower Farm is a 52-acre property situated at the foothills of Mt Bartle about one hour drive south of the Cairns International Airport. We grow an extensive variety of tropical Heliconia and Ginger for use in the Australian Cut Flower market. Our farm is completely self-sustainable. We have a waterfall that generates our power through Hydroelectricity and gravity-fed water from a natural spring.
