Located at the end of a short gravel lane, this spacious cabin is just 2.2 miles from the heart of Nashville- Indiana's quaint artist colony and tourist destination. Though it is easy to get to, you will feel like you are in the middle of the woods, which surround the house on three sides. You can touch the trees from the lovely decks, which wrap around the house on two levels. A garden, featuring various flowering and local plants, meanders down a rock path to the gazebo, which contains the luxury 6-person hot tub! The sweet smell of cedar and mix of antique and plush furnishings welcome your first step inside the cabin, and the wooded views from the full wall of glass doors beckon you to kick back and start relaxing. Spend your day taking in the beauty of the Brown County State Park, and checking out the area wineries, antique and artisan shops, art galleries, and restaurants in Nashville. Or, stay around the house and cook dinner together in the full kitchen or out on the gas grill while watching your friend (or your self!) reel in the catch-of-the-day at the 3-acre lake. Bait can be found under most rocks in the garden-borrow our shovel! Canoe and life-jackets available. In the evening, snuggle-up around the outdoor fire-pit or inside in front of the wood-burning “Brown County Stone” fireplace. If you so desire, turn on one of the flat screen TVs if you don't want to miss your favorite program or the "big game," or opt to pop-in one of our large selections of DVDs. Finally, enjoy the down-alternative comforters and high thread count towels and sheets as you are lulled to sleep by the peaceful rhythms of the woods... Fireflies and WiFi included FREE OF CHARGE! Please be aware of this and use caution when using all stairs at the cabin. 2.Being in the middle of the woods, the occasional mouse or bug can make its way into the house. We make all efforts to keep this to an absolute minimum. Please try to keep an open mind, as an occasional meeting of Mother Nature's critters is a small price to pay for her absolute beauty in this pristine location! (That being said, please let us know if such a meeting occurs).

Creekside Cabin

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful cabin in the woods. Creekside Cabin was originally built in the 1860's and in the 1980's it was carefully rebuilt with an addition. It is located just 2 miles from Nashville, Indiana and 4 miles from Brown County State Park. After a day of adventure, head back to our cozy Creekside Cabin for relaxation in the hot tub and s'mores by the fire pit. As of July 2023, Creekside is cabin is under new ownership with some great updates! Pet fee, $75/one dog

Brown County Woods - Cabin 2 king beds Secluded

If you like to be close to everything in Nashville, IN while being in the middle of the woods, this is the place for you. This Cabin is about 2,500 feet from the main road and feels like the middle of the woods. Additionally, Brown County State Park is directly next to the west and north property line boundary. The property is 24 acres total, about 20 acres of mature woods. In just over 5 minutes, you can be to the north entrance of Brown County State Park or in downtown Nashville, Indiana.

Large, private 1350 sq ft apartment in a peaceful, wooded location, 1 mile from downtown Nashville and the Brown County State Park. 3 queen beds (one is a murphy bed, in order to have 2 separate sleeping areas). Full kitchen with washer/dryer. Free wifi. Large private yard and deck to bird watch with your complimentary morning coffee and biscotti. Enjoy the outdoor gas grill and fire pit (wood provided). A Game Room Parlor offers fun and relax time for morning coffee or evening game & TV time. One shared hallway bath. This 1880 home allows the guests to step back into yesteryear ambience with modern comforts.

The studio is in the woods so you may see or encounter wildlife including deer, opossums, raccoons, snakes, bobcats, coyotes and birds. Owner lives on property.

The large kitchen is open to a large family room. You can lounge in comfort or sit on the back deck and watch the wildlife. Newly remodeled in 2019 it is a sight to see. This guest suite with private entrance is in a quiet, older neighborhood near the IU campus. The booking includes a recently remodeled basement bedroom with en suite bathroom. It's locked off from the rest of the home in which the host family lives. The bedroom includes a queen bed, mini-fridge, microwave, and Keurig. The bathroom has a glass-enclosed shower.
