Equipped with 2 bedrooms (one double bed and two single beds), bathroom with a shower, lounge with DSTV, breakfast nook and a full kitchen with convection microwave oven, induction plate, kettle, toaster, fridge, and all basic utensils.

Neels Cottage in Rocklands

Rustic, old-fashioned cottage - the home of Marijke and Lefras Olivier, a retired local farmer. Located in the heart of the Rocklands bouldering area. Perfect for boulderers, or anyone wishing to enjoy the beauty of the Cederberg or just to enjoy the peace and quiet. The owners live in a Studio apartment at the back part of the house. They have a separate entrance. While guests will almost be unaware of their presence they are always available to give advice or answer questions.

While it doesn’t have a fully equipped kitchen, there’s a BBQ outside for your grilling pleasure, making it a great spot for a casual, beachside retreat or a romantic weekend away.

Thornbay Accommodation is the prime accommodation in Doringbaai, a small town in Southern Namaqualand, West Coast of South Africa. All our apartments are individual and are fully equipped for self catering. (Just bring your beach towel, your food and toiletries).
