Staying at Ford Cottage for a romantic getaway or much-needed time out will help you relax and enjoy your time in the Clare Valley. A warm fire and air-conditioning ensures you'll be comfortable all year round. There are generous breakfast provisions to start your day, indoor and outdoor cooking facilities and an outdoor spa looking out over the private cottage garden to recuperate in after your activities. Stays of two nights or longer - your choice of a bottle of local red or white wine.

WHISTLER VINEYARD RETREAT

Set on 80acres in the heart of the Barossa Valley this private, self-contained guest wing is surrounded by vineyard and gardens. Our retreat gets you back to nature... with vineyard and scrub walks, (accompanied by at least one of our Border Collies), friendly geese, an inquisitive free-roaming peacock, hens, rescued & wild kangaroos, the occasional Koala and a myriad of birdlife. Take in the views from the verandas, sit by the campfire (during the cooler months) or relax in the hammock.

Barossa 1900 Vineyard Retreat

Barossa 1900 offers luxury vineyard accommodation for 10 people in the Barossa Valley, one hour’s drive from Adelaide. The private two-acre property is home to some of the Barossa’s oldest dry-grown Grenache grapes and is located a short walk to cellar doors, restaurants, breweries and retail shopping in Tanunda. As a sister property to Barossa 1900 Homestead, together these two properties sleep 18 people. We offer generous inclusions and private winemaker tastings by appointment.

Stables by the Vines

In 1856, an English stonemason, Thompson Priest, began mining slate in Mintaro. At the same time, he built a home with stables at the rear of his property. Over the intervening years, the stables fell into a desperate state, however, recently, the Stable has returned to life through a sensitive restoration and refurbishment. Set on the edge of Reillys Winery, the Stable is a 100m walk through the vines to the cellar door and further 20 metres to the renowned Magpie Stump Hotel.
