This Guest house is a Fantastic Place to rest and relax. Set on 10 beautiful acres overlooking pastures with Cows, Horses, and Chickens. We have an isolated feel but are just minutes from Hwy 11 and Interstate 20. The guest house has its own private deck with fantastic pastoral views. There is also a shared porch that has an outdoor fireplace, perfect for enjoying some fresh air on cool nights. The main room has a King size bed. Welcome to our warm and inviting historic farm home. Enjoy a quaint and cozy stay with easy access to Athens, UGA, Madison, Monroe, and Watkinsville. You will enjoy the entire second floor. The space offers two bedrooms with a queen bed in each, a third room with a double bed that can be used as a bedroom or common room, and a full bathroom with an antique claw foot tub and shower. There's no access to the downstairs. You can also relax on the front porch or back deck overlooking 9 wooded acres.

1811 Cottage at Sunflower Farm

The 1811 Cottage is as unique as the 120 acre farm it sits on with it's wide heart pine plank walls, ceilings, floors, and the duel fireplaces. This historic settler's home features a living room, master bedroom on the main floor, and a huge sleeping loft, making it comfortable and cozy for one to six guests. Modern additions include a large bathroom with claw foot tub and shower and a nicely equipped, yet tiny kitchenette. The front porch is a great spot for that early morning cup of coffee!

Greek Revival Farmhouse

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Pierce Farmhouse was built in 1870 as a wedding gift for a son. We have owned it for 20 years and have made another set of renovations to bring it back to its original charm and character while making it more comfortable with modern amenities. The farmhouse sits on 60 wooded acres in High Shoals and guests have access to our pond for fishing and river for canoeing. We are 20 minutes from Athens, and 15 minutes from Monroe and Madison.

We've had so much fun hosting our original, The Ivywood Barn, we decided to add on. Welcome to The Ivywood Barn Too! Our home property came with an old horse barn and stables and a feed room; two rooms under one roof. In 2018, we turned the horse barn and stables into The Ivywood Barn. Now we've converted the feed room into The Ivywood Barn Too! Two private rooms, two private entrances under one roof. So, if you're a party of 2, choose either side. If you're a party of 4, choose them both!

Enjoy the sounds of nature while you sit around the campfire or sip morning coffee enjoying the sunrises at the bistro table on the porch. This is a unique tiny house constructed from a brand new shipping container. Great AC. Full size bathroom and kitchenette. Athens area Superhosts for years and we would be honored if you chose to make our space your home away from home for a night or more!

Cabin-like 1 bedroom

10 minutes from downtown Covington and 35 minutes from the east side of Atlanta. Enjoy a peaceful, unique experience in a quiet, safe neighborhood with plenty of outdoor space and resident chickens. This 1 bed/1 bath features a kitchenette and shower/tub combo. Wifi and Roku included. The suite is attached to the main home by a patio roof but does not share an entrance or heating/AC with the main home (about 25 ft between them). Pets welcome, no cleaning fees or pet fees!

The Nest, Charming Country Setting south of Athens

This guest suite is located above the detached three car garage across from the main house. Beautiful views of the countryside, including horses and chickens! Sanford Stadium and beautiful downtown Athens are just 14 miles north of us (a 22 minute drive). Historic Madison is 19 miles to the south of us. You are welcome to fish or kayak on our pond as well. Come stay with us! We do have a no-pet policy and a no-smoking policy. Thank you for respecting our space.
